A funny comment I read is that the billion-dollar show comes across as a money laundering operation lol.. Anybody trying to make the "next GOT" would do well to end it properly otherwise it will disappear overnight like GOT did. Supposedly the development behind the making the LOTR trilogy was a very long one, several years of planning before Fellowship was even produced. The Hobbit was in comparison, very rushed, made up as they went along, and relied on CGI rather than practical effects.
