This is what happens when the MSM, Democratic Party, local DAs, Mayors, cities, and city councils enable that behavior while encouraging more of it. Quote

I do not follow wrestling, so I can’t say much. May their family and friends find peace. Gale Sayers was amazing! Joe Laurinaitis (Road Warrior Animal,) was part of the best tag team ever in wresting in my opinion. I grew up watching him wrestle as a wrestling fan. His son played LB at Ohio State too. Quote

Joe Rogan is just the host, he doesn't talk that much, except on certain topics. He's more the guy that help the guests to talk. I have watched a small fraction of his videos, but he has wide range of guests: neurologists, astrophysicists, doctors, psychologist, sleep experts, etc. These people are usually recognized experts. I never got the impression that Rogan pretended to be an expert of anything. He's a good interviewer, because he listens a lot and he knows how to make guests comfortable enough to explain their ideas (and they have a lot of time to talk, unlike in TV interviews). Rogan is both confident and kind in the way he asks his questions, that gives a good frame for the guest to answer. All in all, he's much better than many journalists in the mainstream media (who are mostly editorialists, now). The best part about The JRE is that it's unscripted and he's just having a conversation with his guests. The best part about the show are the guests which come from all different types of fields, I find the comedians that he has on have been the worst shows sans a few. We the public need more conversations like this in this time of extreme divisiveness. Quote

When he opens his mouth to give an opinion that's when the trouble begins, as he usually has nothing useful to say (waste of time- and he knows it). Otherwise he is a good interviewer and his format allows for a more deep and voluminous conversation. I think the negative news about his statements is from his opinion making. Also he has a lot of alt right nutjobs/conservative conspiracy theorists and also public intellectuals (that have their own biased angle and want to use it as a platform) so that is something that we may see less of in the future. Also a lot of attention whores that don't deserve a voice. In his standup specials he literally has used the JRE show as source material. Quote

It's a harsh judgement. Sure, he's not a nobel laureate, but he's a good interviewer and at least he's humble. He's far better than people in channels like CNN. People like Brian Stelter have the IQ of sea squirts, while they think of themselves as geniuses. 8 hours ago, Cult Icon said: Otherwise he is a good interviewer and his format allows for a more deep and voluminous conversation. Agreed. 8 hours ago, Cult Icon said: I think the negative news about his statements is from his opinion making. The negative views on Rogan come from activists because Rogan talked about a man that became a woman and fought against women in MMA fights... Rogan said it's unfair and activists are just mad about that. Because activists don't understand biology. They are the obscurantists and the mainstream media back them up. 8 hours ago, Cult Icon said: Also he has a lot of alt right nutjobs/conservative conspiracy theorists and also public intellectuals (that have their own biased angle and want to use it as a platform) so that is something that we may see less of in the future. Most of other ones are recognized experts. Sure, they have biases, but everybody does. Some of them (not all of them) are not in the "mainstream ideologies", but is that a good thing. Having discordant opinions helps to create a healthy debate (and that's good whether they are right or wrong). Diversity of thought is important. People in the mainstream media have forgotten that. That's why they aren't relevant anymore. Quote
