I hope you guys are wrong and Trump doesn't turn into a scumbag crook.  I find his desire to spend his weekends at Trump Tower disturbing given the incredible conflicts of interest.   It will also clog up that area of Manhattan with security details.

 

I'm an investor; I have to follow this stuff everyday and I might as well be dead inside about the top leadership of this nation.  

 

In fact I've been dead inside since 2004. :sad:

 

IMHO Give him 12-18 months and then judge if he's Lee kuan yew/Robert Moses and has what it takes to "save america"..

 

So far it's look like a Bush jr. III administration so far.  Oil & Gas.  Defense.

I don't get why people are so offended by Gigi making fun of Melania? It was a lame impression but friggin hell everyone does it. SNL literally parody people every week. Seriously why do people have the need to be so offended by everything all the time? We really don't give much fucks here in Aus. Although even we are starting to become so politically correct too it's pissing me off.

Imitating the accent of a foreign people( and/or of ones grandparents) is racist now.  Soon Aussies will be accusing Kiwis of racism :pinch: 

It kinda goes back to Slavoj's point that PC cannot be elevated to the level of a universal right etc

Eh, you're about a few decades too late.  The business of america is business.  

 

It matters not if it is embarrassing or not as foreign interests are not the same as those of the people who live here.

 

 Obama did not do tens of millions of people who live here well but he was politically correct/glossy and did what the international community wanted-  but those of us who lived here, he was stagnation with a human face.
