I think she went semi-hiphop, partly because the label told her to, and partly because she's always been into hiphop, and other 'street' music. is she getting her Ho on now? yes, she is. but the quality of her music is still good, and she's still got a lot of heart in her writing, which is her way of staying true to her feelings of expression.but any major seller is going to have to play ball, especially these days. I know of plenty of artists who haven't folded under the pressure, and I know of some who have. It's too bad she has. But the thing is... most reviews I've read call it "good" selling out, because they've also said the album is really, really catchy which doesn't make it suck.Anyway, I love her eyes.
