"A Million Ways to Die in the West"

Some pretty good laughs. Not as many as I had hoped for.

Three stars out of five for me.

spoiler alert to those who haven't seen

The reason he was shot was because the guy who kissed him, ricky's dad, just outed himself as being gay, and when he didn't feel the same way, he knew he had to take care of it. You saw how he was so protective and making sure his son wasn't gay...its because he was gay himself, and ashamed of it. He had to kill the one link that knew of him being gay. And I guess the reason he chose his youth  to reconnect with is it was the easiest thing to do. In the end it seemed he kinda made peace where he was at in life, and realized that it wasn't all bad. That while he hated his job, his wife, and everything around him.....maybe he didn't. And that he had alot to be thankful for and there was alot of  "beauty" in his world to appreciate

Though many will interpret things from the movie differently, thats what I always got out of it :)

Ah that would make sense, I kinda feel like it was over dramatic that he would do that. I feel bad for the wife though considering it seemed like she wanted to shoot him, but when she saw him dead she realized how bad that thought was and how she really loved him. I still want to know badly what would have happened after the film took place, like what happened to the kids? Why didn't they react more emotionally to seeing a dead man? So many questions

Puncture (2011) - Quite enjoyed this film. I was at the Warehouse and waiting to buy a birthday gift for a friend, and I found some Chris Evans DVD's in the bargain bin so I bought two for $10. This was one of them and I watched it that night. Found it a very compelling and emotional film. It raises questions on the medical industry, and shows the power of propaganda/bribery of bigger powers. Chris Evans acting was brilliant ;) (I might be biased of course). Some parts are a tad overwhelming though. 7.5/10

"True Grit" 1969 & 2010

One of the best movie remakes ever.

Five stars out of five for both.

She's all that and 10 Things I hate about you

The Fault In Out Stars - I want somebody to pay me back for the two hours I wasted watching that piece of crap o.O. The storyline is lame as hell and it's been done one too many times and it's been done a lot better, you can predict the end from the beginning and Jesus Christ the acting is so awful, totally cringe worth it. This has got to be the most overrated movie I've seen in years. 3/10

22 Jump Street

I don't understand it's popularity. Almost dozed off.

1 1/2 stars out of 5 for me.

Jillian Bell was a standout however.

About Time: 7/10

City of Men: 6/10

Big fan of any Bradley Cooper film, Loved Limitless and he was great in this. I didn't though think Jennifer Lawrence showed a worthy Oscar Winning performance; good but not Oscar worthy!

*Warning* - these films are distressing and disturbing... I'm not into horror; just a friend was talking about the sickist films out there and these 2 came up, so out of curiosity I had to watch them. They aren't scary like usual horror, just extreme and disgusting.

A Serbian Film especially is purely sick, shocking but you'll know exactly what you're getting when you look at the reviews. Irreversible again is sick, seeing beautiful Monica Belluci put in that position is shocking.

A Serbian Film: 5 /10

Superb movie. Seu Jorge can pretty much do no wrong in my eyes.
