Really sweet DailyMail article about the new leo/ruby pics. Sounds like Tobey couldn't spend Easter with his kids, and it says he filled in as the father figure for tobey :blush: AWWW

Getting some practice in? Leonardo DiCaprio takes on daddy duties as he holds hands with Tobey Maguire's daughter

He's known as one of the world's most attractive men with a penchant for beautiful ladies but is yet to settle down.

But now Leonardo DiCaprio has demonstrated he'd make good marriage and father material.

The Hollywood heartthrob stood in for best pal Tobey Maguire over the weekend as he spent Easter with the actor's family and played father figure to his daughter.

Leonardo, 37, looked like the perfect doting dad as he took hold of five-year-old Ruby's hand as he walked her along the streets of New York.

Dressed down in jeans, trainers, jacket and a baseball cap, the Titanic star was joined by Tobey's wife Jennifer Meyer.

Leonardo ensured he looked after the youngster, who was dressed in shorts and a cute purple patterned kaftan with Converse trainers which matched her mum's.

The actor, who is thought to be Ruby's godfather, smiled as he took on the fatherly role while Tobey ran some errands elsewhere in Manhattan.

Leonardo showed just how close a friend he is to the Spider-Man star, who he met at the start of his career when they were both struggling actors.

The pair have most recently filmed Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby together, alongside Carey Mulligan, in Australia.

And they caught up again over the weekend during the get together in the Big Apple.

While Leo took one of Ruby's hands, Jennifer took the other.

Although there was no sign of her and Tobey's other child, two-year-old son Otis.

Tobey, meanwhile, looked busy as he texted on his mobile phone and carried his rucksack while dressed in chinos and a blue checked shirt elsewhere in the city.

While his friend is settled down with a wife and two children, DiCaprio is yet to marry or start his own family.

He split up with longterm love Bar Refaeli last year and has since been linked to actress Blake Lively, but the pair have since gone their separate ways.

DiCaprio has now started dating Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton, and if these latest pictures are anything to go by he could be ready to one day settle down.

Back in the car from Titanic 3D,

The tears were literally dropping like water!!

It's very well visited in Holland, two shows this day and all were pretty much full.

And it was hilarious to wait in line for the next show and see all the girls/woman with messed up mascara etc :p

The 3D was very well done, there are nice moments when they film the diving to the ship and you see all the little parts of dust floating in the ocean/theater. And there are also effects like when the pipe is falling on Fabrizio and it's falling in the audience, and it's like your standing on the railing seeing those people drown, really intense!

But what I was mostly happy about is seeing such a classic on the big screen, even though it was way past my generation!

And thank you for the adorable updates, that's what I'd been hoping for!

I'm soooooo in love with these pictures. Oh, he's so beautiful (quite obvious :p)... Leo will be a very sexy daddy one day (again, obvious)... I hope to live long enough to see that happen .

Thanks a lot Oxford, Sick, Princess and everyone . Wijn... I'm soooo jealous... glad you saw the movie.

What I find most interesting is to read on twitter an entire generation discovering Leonardo DiCaprio... back off bitches, he is MINE :jimmy: :war:.

And the funniest thing is that many kids/Beliebers/Twilighters didn't know that the Titanic tragedy was real... like ... let's read more, ppl! There's a world beyond Twilight and Justin B.
