Tks for more Wolf screening reactions :)

Marjo

Tks for Wolf tv spot :)

Kat

Tks forTwitter sighting news that Leo is back in L.A :)

With him being spotted at Georgio Armani showroom, I wonder if he was being fitted with the suits he'll

wear for upcoming Wolf premieres

Now in the past , some bloggers and critic have not stuck to stated embargo deadline, but technically the review embargo is

to Dec 17th

Set for The Wolf of Wall Street screening BUT embargoed until 12/17. So you'll have to wait until @CriticsChoice noms to know if we like it.

From Hollywood Reporter regarding Wolf's R rating rather than the stronger N- 17

Director Martin Scorsese's The Wolf Street of Wall Street has garnered an R rating -- instead of the dreaded NC-17 -- after the filmmaker agreed to trim certain nudity and sex scenes, insiders confirm to The Hollywood Reporter.

Initially, the Classification and Ratings Administration Board indicated that Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as disgraced Wall Street broker and hedonistic party boy Jordan Belfort, was destined for the more restrictive rating because of its abundant sex. Scorsese and Paramount, which is distributing the movie in North America, had several exchanges with the ratings board in terms of what was needed to secure an R rating, sources

it's a shame that sex is rated more harshly than violence. like it's been said, i really hope the eventual blu ray release includes some kind of directors cut/uncensored version because i want to see this movie in all its vulgar glory.

i also can't wait for the official reviews. can't believe they set the embargo for so close to the general release date, it's barely a week long window! so excited though, so so so so so excited

Not sure if this was posted beforepost-66454-0-1446086548-26336_thumb.jpgpost-66454-0-1446086548-30004_thumb.jpgpost-66454-0-1446086548-30833_thumb.jpg

Arggg at how long we have to wait for the critic reviews, hopefully some will spill the beans earlier than that :p

Speaking of...

Kristopher Tapley @kristapley 17h

Hearing Margot Robbie could be someone to watch in supporting for "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Kristopher Tapley @kristapley 17h

And that Leo is pretty damn great. (As is Jonah, natch). Can't wait to see this thing already.

thanks all for the updates! :flower:

Really excited with this screening reactions, and really curious to see what critics will think!

No new pics for like... 2 days? I'm crushed .

Thanks girls :flower:.

Right? We can watch shootings, rape, abuse, legs and arms being cut off and many other things... but we cannot watch two people "having sex" or even naked. It's not a porn movie, it's not even real sex... and I doubt Martin was shooting anything too extreme. "Shame" comes to mind, and it was rated NC-17. No Leo ^^^^ for us, I guess .

I don't remember any director's cut from Scorsese :idk:. Has he ever done one? Fingers crossed for "Wolf"!

OMG, OMG, OMG! :woot:

Anyone know when the official Wolf screening will take place? Critic wise.

a few details:

I don’t get to see Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street until Friday, December 6th, but the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will have a looksee the day after tomorrow (Sunday, 12.1) and the New York Film Critics Circle, I’m informed, will see it a day later (Monday, 12.2). Presumably the National Board of Review will have a screening before voting also. LAFCA will catch it on Friday night. So whatever the reactions, everyone will be up to speed.
