SympathysSilhouette Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 ^Are you playing with permadeath on? I couldn't bear to lose any soldiers after I decided to name them after models, so I'd restart a mission if any died Kinda felt like I was cheating though. I'm doing the same... Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Finally dared to attempt capturing one of the creatures. It was a lot easier than I had thought! Quote
julianx22 Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Football Manager 2013 and umm Age of Empires 3. But I don't play games that often nowadays. Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Still playing CoH2. To give you an idea of how little time I have to devote to gaming right now, I'm still stuck somewhere halfway through the campaign. That didn't stop me from buying two titles at a discount (package deal) though: Borderlands 2 and Resident Evil Revelations. No idea when I will actually find the time to play them. Quote
Stormbringer Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Been playing Outlast for a while. Nice game! I like it so far. It manages to scare the player and to keep you somewhat tense while playing, it has a good atmosphere. I still haven't played that much but it's a good game so far. Quote
Ophelia_Immortal Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I'm playing my first Pokemon game since Yellow! Pokemon Y is soooo fun! I am also playing Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn(MMO) It's fantastic! This is my 50 Scholar Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 The Banner Saga, which is a terrific example of the kind of games Indie developers should aspire to. I love the beautiful 2D animations. The gameplay in combat is a bit reminiscent of XCOM. Quote
donbot Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 ^I thought it looked kind of interesting, but I heard the combat was actually a little lackluster. You recommend it? I've been playing Guacamelee! Love love love the graphic style of this game - super slick and responsive gameplay too. Loads of fun Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 The combat system is not nearly as advanced or deep as XCOMs.Stoic is only three man strong so I suppose it makes sense that it would show in some aspects of the game. The animation is beautiful though, even if it is just your caravan making its way through the landscape. Stormbringer Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I started playing Skyrim a couple of weeks ago. Awesome game!! Quote
Michael* Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Still trying to work my way through 'The Last Of Us'. There was a time when I'd have been able to finish a game like it in a couple of days. Quote
Karly Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Still trying to work my way through 'The Last Of Us'. There was a time when I'd have been able to finish a game like it in a couple of days. My friend keeos singing it's praises, so I'll definitely try and give it a go. Last game I played was Dark Souls 2. Bit of a let down compared to the brilliant original. Quote
Ophelia_Immortal Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Currently playing, and LOVING Child of Light The game is 10000000000000000x more gorgeous than this video shows. Quote
Karly Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 It's good to see more artistically diverse game offerings, especially that one Quote

My friend keeos singing it's praises, so I'll definitely try and give it a go. I'm happy to report that the hype is entirely justified. If you like things like Uncharted and the most recent Tomb Raider game, chances are you'll like it. Quote

I'm more of a medieval fantasy sort of guy, but I did play Uncharted and I really dug it, so that's good news I'm waiting for Bloodborne to come out befote ig et a PS4, then Last of Us after. Quote
