Tom Blyth does not want to dress viral at Paris Fashion Week The Hunger Games star talks sexy knits, organic Loewe fits and Hunter Schafer's innate fashion genius Tom Blyth loved Challengers. Then again, who didnât? Chatting down the phone from Paris en route to Loeweâs Spring/Summer 2025 show, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes actor is waxing lyrical about Jonathan Andersonâs costuming for the yearâs horniest tennis drama. âIn the same way the Trent Reznor soundtrack made the film, Jonathanâs designs made the film and pulled it all together,â he says. âLuca [Guadagnino] is so good at directing actors but heâs got such an aesthetic eye. So you can see why someone like him and Jonathan have bonded and made great work together.â Ever since he anchored The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes as a young, morally clapped Coriolanus Snow, Blyth has reached new levels of booked and busy. He released a new season of Billy the Kid earlier this month. He wrapped a gritty prison drama, Wasteman, a day before we speak (âI got to play someone Iâve never played before: this pretty crazed, violent prisoner. I got to bounce off the wall and be a little bit nutty for a few weeksâ), and the day after we speak heâs flying to Bulgaria to shoot Watch Dogs, an action-adventure based on the video game series of the same. At some point heâs set to star in adaptations of A Farewell to Arms and Discussion Materials. He may also sleep. But most intriguingly, Blyth mentions he had lunch with Luca Guadagnino âa couple of weeks ago in LA.â He says little else on the matter, other than reaffirming his fandom for the director. For the Loewe show, Blyth stepped out in a burgundy sweater vest with a green arrow in the centre and pleated black trousers. âIâm wearing a knitwear sweater vest and it feels sexy,â he says. âAnd thatâs what they do at Loewe: they make knitwear sexy.â After a juggernaut press tour for The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Blyth has more or less got the hang of dressing up for red carpets and dinners. âI think most people from most backgrounds donât have access to these kinds of things early in their life, so when you do, it feels like a very strange world to be in,â he says. âIt can feel quite tense because youâre not sure how to act. Then you go to a few more events and a couple of shows and you donât feel like such an imposter.â Initially, Blyth found the process of being dressed a bit overwhelming, when PRs would weigh in on his fashion choices: âIt was decision making by committee and I find that difficult. It honestly takes the fun out of it.â Heâs formed a close bond with his stylist, Michael Fisher, and the pair have refined their way of working, with grooming expert Bjorn Krischker drafted in for Paris Fashion Week. âIf the aim here is to feel good then I should lead with my impulse,â he says. âMe and Michael have streamlined it to the point where I tell him what vibe Iâm going for and he pulls some options. For the press tour I was taking 31 different looks for each event and it just felt so not like me. I had to find a way to make it feel like something I could do and make it more personal.â Blyth sought to channel the essence of a â60s French film star for his The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes premiere fits, because he felt most at home in âslouchy suits and flowy shirts.â But he was also mindful of who his co-stars were: âWhen Iâm stood next to Hunter Schafer, who is the fashion queen of the century on the red carpet, thereâs no way youâre going to outshine her so donât even try,â he says. âAnd I donât even want to â thatâs her thing. I love her a lot, so itâs nice to stand next to her and be able to share in her limelight when sheâs looking amazing.â Blyth isnât trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to fashion, and that suits him just fine. âI feel like everyoneâs dressing to go viral, which I find a bit exhausting,â he says. âEspecially when men do it, because it can feel a bit try-hard. It really only works when someoneâs dressing because they want to wear it and not because they think itâs going to hit on the internet.â https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/tom-blyth-loewe-ss25-show-2024

One of my all time faves even though it's incredible sad.

The terrible shaky camera work gave me a major headache but I thought the problematic topic of being jewish and a victim and a perpetrator was very interesting. I'm also kinda into Jannis Niewöhner even though his character was really.... unlikable lol

RUMOR: Brad Pitt Cast in Paul Thomas Anderson's Latest? Here's an interesting update when it comes to Paul Thomas Andersonâs latest film, which already stars Leonard DiCaprio, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Alana Haim and Teyana Taylor. The untitled project, being produced by Warner Bros, is currently shooting in El Paso, and lots of rumors are going around about a potential new addition to the cast ⊠Last year, Jeff Sneider had been hearing some rumblings about Brad Pitt potentially being part of PTAâs mysterious new film. Sadly, Sneider couldnât confirm these rumors. If anything, Pittâs name has kind of disappeared from this project as heâs currently shooting Joseph Kosinskiâs Formula One movie. Now, local Radio host Rivera Nazareth is reporting that Brad Pitt was spotted on the El Paso set of PTAâs film. Whether itâs a cameo or a substantive role has yet to be determined. I honestly cannot even confirm if Pitt was even there. This is all just second-hand information, and itâs really impossible to get Warner Bros to corroborate anything that has to do with this film. UPDATE: I messaged Nazareth for confirmation and sheâs saying Pitt was indeed there. All I know is that if he is in fact part of the film, then it would somewhat explain why the budget is so high â Sneider recently reported that it cost $175M to produce. This weekend, DiCaprio was also filming in El Paso, at the local county jail. The film, set for release on August 8, 2025, and which goes by the working title âBC Project,â is now being referred to as âDesert Highwayâ in casting calls â is that the official title? By the way, âBCâ stands for the âBaktin Crossâ police department. Based on my last report, shooting recently wrapped shooting in California and is supposed to continue in Texas until the end of the week. Other destinations left to tackle include Mexico and Colorado in the coming weeks and months. -
