D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai is an Oji-Cree Canadian actor most recognized for his breakthrough performance as Bear Smallhill in FX's "Reservation Dogs." The show, highlighting a cast and crew made up entirely of Indigenous people, was an immediate hit and received many awards after its first season aired. In addition to his acting, Woon-A-Tai is well-known for tying Native American influences into his fashion choices. more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D'Pharaoh_Woon-A-Tai insta: https://www.instagram.com/dpharaohwoonatai/

It exists even a berlinale edition of the movie. https://www.berlinale.de/en/archive/awards-juries/awards.html/o=desc/p=23/rp=40

@Lilja K it's still the whole father/son dynamic + parallels that made the whole franchise for me. Love everything about this storyline It's really well made and like the glue of everything past, present and future.

@Lilja K slightly better than A NEW HOPE. Harrison Ford is still terrible. Always shouting and pointing with his finger on people (literally). His character is just awful and annoying. He's still constantly mocking Leia allegedly having "feelings for him" she's not "admitting" because she's afraid for "having a real bad man in her life". I was like what is this dude talking about!!??? He's constantly entering her personal space, touching her when she's clearly telling him she didn't want him to do, his flirting is TERRIBLY intrusive and if that isn't all enough already his "best friend" is also constantly hitting on her. I would have scream if I was her, really. It's one of the worst "iconic" love stories I ever witnessed in my movie life. I'm kinda shocked how people can mock movies like 365 DAYS, 50 Shades of Grey and Twilight but thinking this one is any better 😨 I also was highly irritated by Mark Hamills face and thought for a moment they changed the actor. Then I learned he was in a serious car accident and had some facial recoveries and reconstructions. He was really hot in this scene though. Those 2 are the best 😄

  23. It's The Revenant all over again or what!? The budget is already rising. Also seems like composer Jonny Greenwood is in some healthy crisis. Hope he'll get well soon!!! PTA's Next Film to Continue Shooting Until January 2025! Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest film started production on January 22, 2024. The film, shooting under the working titles ‘BC Project’ and ‘Desert Highway’ has continued filming ever since, mostly in California and Texas. The project is being shot on 35mm film using VistaVision cameras. I’m hearing that the shoot is far from over, we have “at least” another 5 months left before things wrap up on this one. It’s set to continue production until January/February 2025. I’ve also heard that the whole cast hasn’t been announced yet, and additional actors are set to be revealed in the coming months. So far, set to star in PTA’s film are Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor, Wood Harris, Shayna McHale and Chase Infiniti. The film is scheduled to be released on August 8, 2025, by Warner Bros. The most recent footage had the cast and crew shooting in the El Paso, Texas. Although the budget has been reported to be $100M, Jeff Sneider recently made the claim that it might be closer to $175M. Warner Bros greenlit PTA’s latest. The film is said to be PTA’s most “mainstream” film to date. What we’ve seen so far, via on-set leaks, is that the project will be heavy on action; with lots of car chases, street riots, and explosions. Jonny Greenwood will compose the film's score, this will be his sixth collaboration with PTA. However, his participation might be up in the air now given that Greenwood was recently hospitalized in the ICU for “emergency treatment” and has canceled his current tour due to these complications. The musician got “seriously ill” from an infection. No further details have been revealed. We wish him well and a speedy recovery.
