In short, no, haha. This forum reminds me that lots of people, especially men, would be looking at me if I were a model. If I were a model, I would just do it part-time as a fun way to earn some money on the side. By no means would that be my career aspiration. If I were naturally incredibly tall and thin and had a face like Karlie or Gisele, then maybe I'd actually pursue it. In general, I tend to think good looks should just be an asset to what you do for work - not the focus of it. As has been discussed earlier in this thread, working in the entertainment industry, including the modeling industry, seems to be very damaging psychologically. Being trained that your best asset is the way you look on the outside rather than who you are on the inside is just not healthy - plain and simple. Psychologically, I imagine the damage is similar to that of being a prostitute or stripper, honestly. There's also the obvious fact that most models don't get substantial work beyond the age of about 25 (the exception being supermodels). To forego traditional education and work experience for a career in the modeling industry is certainly risky; however, as Cult mentioned earlier, you probably do meet a ton of people through modeling, and these connections potentially could serve you once your modeling career is over.

Maybe young girls like Rachel. I don't know. I think VS likes her because they think she looks cute and quirky rather than obviously pretty and sexy. For PINK, they seem to like "cute" girls like that. I do remember them doing the same thing with Elsa. But to me, Rachel and Elsa look similar.

Hahaha Really annoyed at how when you walk in a VS or PINK store, Rachel is everywhere.

I love Jourdan, but I'm so sick of this hairstyle she's been sporting for quite a while now. Loved her with long black hair, especially styled completely straight.

I actually don't cleanse my face that much. I usually only cleanse it to remove my makeup at night or if I've worked out, as I don't like putting too many chemicals on my skin. My philosophy is that the sebum produced naturally by the pores is there for a reason, and it's healthy for the skin. What's key is maintaining the skin's moisture barrier and not depleting it by over-cleansing. So, in the morning, if I don't shower, I don't do anything to my face before applying my makeup. If I do shower, I generally just let the water wet my face; occasionally, I'll use my ProActiv cleanser (active ingredient: benzoyl peroxide). To remove makeup at night, I'm usually lazy and just use a makeup removing wipe. If I'm not lazy, I'll use face oil or Vaseline to remove the makeup. To prevent breakouts, I apply either Mario Badescu Glycolic Gel or ProActiv Toner (active ingredient: fly colic acid) to the places I'm acne-prone a couple times a week. Both of these products also moisturize the skin. I apply eye cream (Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado) to my eye area if I remember, as well. I also apply moisturizer or face oil to the rest of my face if needed. Although face oil doesn't make me break out, when it comes to moisturizers (lotions), I need to use oil-free formulas - Clinique Dramatically Different Gel and, to a lesser extent, CeraVe work for me.

Recently I've been cleansing and moisturizing my face with the Garnier Clean + Nourishing Cleansing Oil. It works really well for both cleansing and moisturizing, and you can get it at the drugstore. I've learned you have to be careful with the oils you use on your face. Many oils you'd use on your body, such as coconut and avocado oil, can make your face break out. Garnier's face oil contains jojoba and macadamia oil, which will not clog your pores. For eye cream, I've been using Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado for several months now and I like it.

Reaction to the lip sync video: Why did VS choose a song that no one knows? I really don't think that song is in rotation on the radio yet - if it is, it's brand new. The girls' lip syncing/dancing seemed awkward because I doubt any of them were actually familiar with that song.

Thanks, but if you try to adjust the "messenger" setting, you'll see it doesn't let you choose to not receive emails. That appears to be the one section where you can't adjust the toggles.
