Even with congress stalling a new energy bill, fossil fuel companies spreading miss information and spending tens of millions to stop the progress of renewable energy, more than 9.5GW of total solar energy will come online in 2016 accounting for the highest percentage of new added capacity, a first ever! Of the new added solar capacity, California alone will add almost 4GW alone And this on an industry which was almost none existent 15 years ago. Just goes to show how much can be done even with every hurdle in your way. The transition to clean energy is going to happen MUCH FASTER than most people can forecast
