Unlikely that one will go down in the annals of time as a classic Premier League thriller (few games involving Sunderland, and even fewer involving Stoke, do), but if there’s one thing that we can't complain about at this stage of the season, it's taking points before performances. We dominated, we let them back in, we got hold of it again, then we finished the game under pressure. Hardly emphatic, but it brought us what we so desperately needed - a home win.

Inside Llewyn Davis. Virtually no mention of Oscar Isaac this awards season, which is staggering. :baronlamesign:

Thanks Fred! Suspense, intrigue, gripping finale complete with avant garde penalty shoot-out - the game should be nominated for a BAFTA. I've yet to determine whether a one-off meeting with a potentially rampant Man City is a prize or a punishment, but I applaud the lads for the magnificent achievement of reaching the final. Hopefully, it's onwards and upwards from here in all competitions.

The Flash
The Flash is an American television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, airing on The CW. It is based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / The Flash, a costumed superhero crime-fighter with the power to move at superhuman speeds. It is a spin-off from Arrow. The series follows Allen, portrayed by Grant Gustin, a crime scene investigator who gains super-human speed, which he uses to fight criminals, including others who have also gained superhuman abilities. Initially envisioned as a backdoor pilot, the positive reception Gustin received during two appearances as Barry on Arrow led to executives choosing to develop a full pilot to make use of a larger budget and help flesh out Barry's world in more detail. Colleen Atwood, costume designer for Arrow, was brought in to design the Flash's suit, which was modeled after the comic books. The creative team wanted to make sure that the Flash would resemble his comic book counterpart, and not simply be a poor imitation. The series is primarily filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Flash premiered in North America in 2014, where the pilot became the second-most watched premiere in the history of The CW, after The Vampire Diaries in 2009. It has been well received by critics and audiences, and won the People's Choice Award for "Favorite New TV Drama" in 2014. The second season premiered on October 6, 2015, with the series renewed for a third season in March 2016. The series, together with Arrow, has spun characters out to their own show, Legends of Tomorrow, which premiered on January 21, 2016.

It might fit in with the rumours about Robert Redford playing an older version of Strucker in 'Captain America 2'. I wonder if they'll have him use the 'Satan Claw' to make himself younger and then replace Redford with Thomas Kretschmann, who I believe is now confirmed to play the part in 'Age of Ultron'. There's going to be a hell of a lot of stuff going on in this movie, but I suppose we have seen Whedon successfully handle a mass of characters in the past. If anyone can pull off such a mammoth ensemble piece, it’s him.- Jessica De Gouw
Jessica Elise De Gouw (born 15 February 1988), sometimes credited as Jess De Gouw, is an Australian actress. She is known for her recent role as Helena Bertinelli/The Huntress in Arrow, as well as her role as Mina Murray in the NBC TV series, Dracula. Early life Jessica grew up in Lesmurdie, an eastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia where she attended Lesmurdie Senior High School. She appeared in an episode of The Sleepover Club, as well as a short film. In 2010, she graduated from Curtin University at the age of 22, majoring in performance studies. She also appeared in another short film the same year. Career De Gouw moved to Sydney, in order to have a greater opportunity for acting roles. She appeared in a number of TV series, mostly in guest starring roles. In 2012 she appeared in her feature film debut in Kath & Kimderella as Isabella, Kath and Kim's maid. Later the same year after moving to Los Angeles, she also successfully auditioned for a role in the action-adventure series, Arrow as Helena Bertinelli/The Huntress. Following De Gouw's recurring role on the show, she was cast in an upcoming NBC series, Dracula, as Mina Murray, alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
