As far as I'm aware, this show has yet to reach the UK, but I'll be most interested to give it a look if and when it does. I find that Abrams has a real talent for creating fun action sequences and compelling (if sometimes convoluted) plots, and the unveiling of the usual 'big conspiracy' is almost always worth sticking around for. -
A lot will probably depend on whether or not an 'Avengers 3' is in the works, because I can't imagine them wanting to do a whole third movie without Stark. Most likely, Rhodey's death (presumably at the robotic hands of Ultron) becomes Tony’s motivation to return to his superhero duties, since he retired his armour at the end of 'Iron Man 3’.

Lupita Nyong'o (born 1983) is a Kenyan actress and filmmaker. She made her American film debut in Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave (2013), as Patsey. Personal life Nyong'o was born in Mexico City, Mexico, in 1983, to a Kenyan family, and was raised primarily in Kenya. Her parents are Dorothy and Peter Anyang' Nyong'o, a politician. Peter was the former Kenyan Minister for Medical Services and was elected in 2013 to represent Kisumu County in the Kenyan Senate. Her cousin Isis Nyong'o was named one of Africa's most powerful women by Forbes magazine in 2012. Education and career Nyong'o attended university in the United States. After graduating from Hampshire College with a degree in film and theatre studies, she worked on the production crew of many films, including Fernando Meirelles's The Constant Gardener, with Ralph Fiennes, and Mira Nair's The Namesake. She starred in the 2008 short film East River, directed by Marc Grey and shot in Brooklyn, New York. She returned to Kenya in 2008 and starred in the Kenyan television series Shuga. In 2009, she wrote, directed, and produced the documentary In My Genes, about the treatment of Kenya's albino population, which played at several film festivals. She subsequently enrolled in the acting program at the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she appeared in many stage productions, including Gertrude Stein's Doctor Faustus Lights the Lights, Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, and Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and The Winter’s Tale. Nyong'o was cast in 12 Years a Slave immediately after her graduation from Yale in 2012. The film was released in 2013 to great critical acclaim. Nyong'o received rave reviews for her performance, and has been nominated for several awards including a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and two Screen Actors Guild Awards including Best Supporting Actress. She will next be featured in Liam Neeson's upcoming film Non-Stop.
People are laughing alright Moyesy, but not at officials. Far too soon to be dreaming of Wembley of course, nice though to see the lads play with energy and drive once in a while, and to be in with a chance in a fortnight’s time. If only we could start reproducing this form in the league.

Good thing there are no divers at Chelsea. Wink wink! At least when the chop comes from Sullivan and Gold, 'Allardici' will be free to take one of those jobs he believes are more suited to his talents. Europe's elite, form an orderly queue! I can also wholeheartedly recommend Di Canio to 'Ammers fans everywhere.
RIP Eusebio. The longest serving Premier League managers list... 1) Wenger 2) Pardew 3) Allardyce (watch this space?) 4) Rodgers 5) Lambert Rodgers was appointed the day before Lambert but they're basically the bloody old guard at this point! I'm certainly not one for lamenting the impatience of mad foreign owners, or pining for a time when a manager had five years to make a pig's ear of his job instead of five months, but the current culture of quick dismissals at the first sign of trouble does make it potentially difficult to separate those who know what they're doing from those who don't. If the new generation (Clarke, Mackay, Poyet etc) are never given the chance to overcome adversity, how can we ever really find out if they're up to much?
We showed great resilience to scrap for a win at Everton and snatch a point against Cardiff, but if ever there was a game to expose the inherent lack of quality and depth in the squad, that was it. Villa were deserved winners and our makeshift back four wobbled against Benteke and Agbonlahor (who almost always seems to save his best for games against us) throughout. Cattermole, with his first assist in two years, was the pick of the clowns, while Fletcher looked about as sharp as a pair of flares with pockets in the knees. January will be a huge month, both on and off the pitch. The fact that we're not yet cut adrift suggests that we still have an outside chance of survival, but if a late surge is going to happen, it's going to have to happen bloody quickly.
