Felt compelled to post something here. I still occasionally lurk, and happened upon this sad news earlier today. I was upset to see so few replies and then thought 'well, you're only compounding that if YOU don't reply yourself' - so I came back, despite not posting here in umpteen years! Sure enough, as PinkCouture intimated, he was a surly character; but then for me to complain that a member was pithy or belligerent would be rather like the "pot calling the kettle black"! However he always struck me as someone who read people's posts and therefore knew their predilections. And that he didn't suffer fools, the fly-by-nights, or the ungrateful... I'd often get a private message from him with links to UHQ Behati pics or other such information - of which I was always thankful. I'm not qualified to say whether this place is still that sort of community (although I'm happy to see some familiar names above though), or whether those were halcyon days, but he felt like an integral part of my enjoyment of it here and I salute him. 🫡

^Yeah, Quicksilver's is clearly an homage to his early-Avengers costume. I like it... (And at least it has more of a nod than what Hawkeye ended up with: S.H.I.E.L.D agent + snowboarder sunglasses.) Whilst I agree that the whole spandex thing is a tricky thing to pull off on the big screen, Wanda did sport a couple of variants over the years and her more Romany-inspired (albeit cliché) look could translate pretty well, if they end up paying any sort of homage to that side of her: Either way I think they'd be rather remiss not to have her actually wearing SCARLET somewhere in there. And I call that jacket more "rust" or "burnt sienna"!

Phoenix in Gladiator is one of the finest 'boo-hiss' villains in cinematic history - also I just saw him in Her which is a rather nice little turn... I think, when I way it all up , Oldman is more hit-and-miss. Incidentally I reckon you've posted both of their finest performances in your opening gambit, Mr. Icon.

^Devon Aoki has such a wonderfully impassive face - it was great for modelling, and it suited the taciturn Miho perfectly too... Now I'm a big fan of Ms. Chung, I started her thread here, but I was worried when I saw the casting as I've always seen her a little too smiley and animated for such a role. Have to say though, I soon perked up when I saw that glimpse of her in the trailer!
