Earlier today I stumbled upon quite an interesting video detailing the development and eventual cancellation of George Miller's unmade Justice League project. Given what Miller accomplished with the Mad Max series, his vision for Justice League was always one of my favorite "what ifs" in the world of film, but being reminded of that got me thinking about how many more "what ifs" were out there. Are there any others, regardless of genre, era or reason for cancellation, that stand out as good examples?

I have this scene in my head, hopefully someone knows what it's from... some guy (probably not too tough) gets the snot beat out of him, I think in a bar. he's tossed out on his butt. I'm not sure if he goes right back in, or comes back after a while, but he goes back in and smacks a lot of guys around. I think it's unexpected, because he's not a bruiser himself. when he re-enters the bar, the bouncer steps to him and says something like "well, what the fk do you want??" after which he gets thrashed... anyone? thanks!

Which directors, actors, writers, or even producers have created projects in the past that cause you to assume you will like their new project before seeing it? Or another way to ask it, whose work do you enjoy frequently enough that you are excited for whatever they are creating next? You could also include people you immediately assume you won't like their new work. Partially inspired by Cara Delevingne, who you may remember from such films as Suicide Squad and Valerian. Looking at her IMDB page, she's had a few other castings over the last couple of years, although I don't recognise many of the titles so I'm not altogether sure of how big they were. Transformers 2 is coming out and it's been called Rise of the Fallen. Aparently there are a ton of rewrites that took place. and a bunch of fake concept art (but very good concept art). It appears that there will be combining transformers in this. The name Devastaor has been thrown around and there even a creation of it. (not sure if fake or not). And I've also heard that Megatron might be back ,but reborn ... so I'm guessing Galvatron. And I've also seen some art with what looks like an aircraft carrier or something. I wonder if that means Tidal Wave. Well they say it supposed to be 10 times bigger and all these unconfirmed reports certainly seem that way. Time will tell…
