Adrianas Llama Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Im planning to have a Movies-that-make-you-cry night with a friend (since she wussed out of a scary movie night <_< ) so im wondering what are some really good tear jerkers for you? The first that springs to mind for me is forrest gump, i always ball my eyes out when Forrest is talking to Jennys grave! Quote
Monkey Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I've never cried because of a movie.Actually I haven't cried since my uncles died, but then that's a different story. Quote
Chicken Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I cry in every movie I watch...I'm pretty sensitive anything with cruelty towards animals makes me cry real bad Quote
Barry Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Green Mile Philadelphia The Mayor of Casterbridge The Snowman . . . why did he have to melt though? can't remember any others . . . Quote
red_ed Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 might I suggest a chic flick? Chics will fall for anything, even if the same template is used over and OVER and OVER and OVER and Over and oVER and ovEr and 0v3r and OVer and OVER... and over... I don't think they can see it coming...but guess what? they get together in the end and it usually involves some corny line from the past when they were happy together! other tearjerkers I'm not sure... <_< Quote
Barry Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 i should point out that my list was just films that make me sad or cry chick flicks don't work on me. Quote
schadenfreude Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Don't know about crying, but just watched any movie that makes you feel disturbed, i.e. Requiem For A Dream. Quote

Lullaby Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I remember crying while watching Finding Neverland. I can't remember what I cried about but yeah. Quote
Adrianas Llama Posted November 3, 2005 Author Posted November 3, 2005 aww! i have vauge recollections of that movie being sad! *trips and falls off topic*i found it freaky that that little boy starred in yet another johnny depp movie (Charlie and the chocolate factory) and then Johnny went on to be a voice artist in the movie Corpse bride with Helena Bohnam carter who was also in Charlie and the chocolate factory with him... Jimmy Changa Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 The only movie I can remember crying at was Crash. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have that rented...will be watching it tonight. Quote
Jimmy Changa Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 John QI am so glad I was not in a theater. Alot of it stems from my own personal situation though. I get pretty messed up when it comes to movies about parents and sacrifices for their kids. Quote
Jimmy Changa Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 The only movie I can remember crying at was Crash. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have that rented...will be watching it tonight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Damn, you coulda warned a guy! lol That whole "impenetrable cape" part was quite touching especially since my daughter is turning 5 next month. The part where the mother IDs the son, the part where the cop pulls the lady from tha car and the part where the guy lets the people go were all touching parts.....over all the movie was EXCELLENT. I'd like to watch that movie again. Quote

She works with him regularly on his movies. Quote
discostu Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 i came closer to crying in ladder 49 than i did in any other movie. Quote
