Okay, I might be making this a bigger problem than it is, but I have videos that are longer than 10 minutes and I think Youtube will reject them if I try to upload them (their rules, I guess) so when I tried to cut the videos in half on Movie Maker, it told me that they couldn't be imported. I'm guessing it's the codecs. My videos are in .flv format....how in the world can I change that to something that Movie Maker will accept so I can cut these vids in half? It's a favor for somebody and I will be eternally grateful for any help

So, the new version of Windows is now available. I've heard some info on the TV, mostly Bill Gates and his companions boasting about their latest achievement. It reminds me of the hype that broke out when Windows XP was introduced to the market. So what? The system turned out to be one of the weakest in history, with all those Service Packs that needed to be released, since XP did not provide sufficient protection from trojans and spywares. I wonder how many errors there are in the Vista system. Please post your comments.

I haven't been active for awhile, all do to the fact that I dont know my login password for my desktop on Windows XP. I changed it to make it shorter and I must be an idiot because I forgot the password overnight. Do any of you have ideas for me to recover the password? Should I call someone ( windows/ gateway) I dont know what to do Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows anything about windows.old folder? Basically a friends laptop crashed last week, and was unable to log back on even in safe mode, so had to reinstall windows7. A Windows.old folder was created, which pretty much contains the previous contents of the HD. Wanted to know whether the programs, documents & settings can be restored from the windows.old folder, so the laptop can go back to its previous status? Been searching online, and getting mixed opinions whether it can be done?

i have problems for winrar, actually the main problem is absence of it i guess it was installed just trial version so now it's over and i can't use it and i have many problems cos some files need winrar to extract them, but i can't order it cos i haven't credit card yet who knows how could i get it for free?

I would like to surf the net from the second floor. But, the wireless signal I received is too low. The wireless router is on the first floor. I there any way I can improve the signal? CAQn I use a signal amplifier, on the second floor? Thanks for helping.

Ok i'm trying to watch Videos on youtube and guess what it doesn't work!! It says "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player ." And it was working yesterday , last night and i watched videos all night!!! Like wtf! Why isn't it working now i'm pretty sure my Java is on (i don't even have a clue how to turn it off/on but it's always on whatever it is) And when i click the link to download Flash player it won't start downloading.. I allowed pop ups and still won't start.. It's probly cuz all the anti-virus systems I have. But can somebody tell me how i can fix the problem so i can watch youtube …
