Let's help one another identify songs we don't know.

We at Bellazon would appreciate it if members would refrain from providing music (individual songs and entire albums) for other members on the board. This is pirating, and as you all know, is illegal. Let's try to keep the illegal activity on this board down to a minimum. Thanks. Oh yes, and if you are unsure, please PM a member of the staff.

So the idea is to post those you think are the best with the instrument. Those masters of the 6 strings that leave you at awe when listening what they are capable to do with a guitar. Those with beyond human technical abilities, incredible speed, or simply exquisite taste and clean sound. Since Rock is one of the genres where guitar is the more prominent, it may be that most posts here will be related to Rock music, but hopefully we'll see great guitarists from every other genre too. From Blues, to Jazz, Flamenco, Classical and more. I'll start with probably my favorite guitarist ever, and such a huge influence on many generations to come that star…

It's not a strange thing to hear these days that "Rock is dead" or that "Rock is dying". I couldn't disagree more, and there's lots of new bands out there making awesome music and revitalizing the genre. Some are going back to the origins with a more retro sound though still sounding fresh, while others push boundaries exploring new sounds. Both points of view with some great artists making noise. I'll start with one of my favorites bands of this era: Rival Sons From their latest album released last year: Open My Eyes I love their retro sound and that Led Zeppelin - Bluesy vibe they have.

Let's kick off 2023 with a new game This will follow the same principle of "The Cover Or The Original?" but it will be much more general. For each round we will face two different versions of the same song. But it doesn't have to be the original vs a cover version. It can be 2 different covers, none being the original; or it can be an early career version vs a late career version by the same artist... or the studio recording vs a live performance... or two different live performances... you name it! It's all valid as long as it is the same song. Same as in "The Cover Or The Original", the next participant will choose which version they prefer …

We have a thread for guitarists, bassists and singers... But we were lacking one for the rhythmic base! Those who keep the rhythm and the tempo, the backbone of any Rock, Pop, Funk, Soul, Blues, Jazz, etc band you can think of. We were missing on the drummers! Not anymore!
