foofur16 Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Fo example, Bernstein's renditions of Beethoven are really hazardous if you compare them to other conductors (Karajan, Celibidache, Ozawa). To the untrained ear, it sounds ok but to the more experienced, it's pretty awful, but then again, everybody likes their Beethoven / Mozart / Rachmaninoff etc. differently. Not two pairs of ears are the same I haven't seen Leah live so I'm only judging her on the studio albums. I've seen her live, but haven't listened her on record. I can't say much more since I haven't listened to their albums that much, I can only judge based on those 2 times I saw them live.
