Haute Couture Spring 2018

We may be in the middle of a cold winter, but things are heating up on the Paris runway. Couture designs for spring of 2018 hit the runway this week featuring some of our favorite supermodels and we are living for it. Some designers were typical to their roots for the spring fashion week, others did some things a bit differently this year. To quote couture queen Miranda Priestly: Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking. Here are some of the Paris Haute Couture Spring 2018 highlights:

Christian Dior

The Christian Dior collection featured some florals, sure, but the femininity of typical spring design was offset by dark colors and powerful silhouettes. Pictured in Christian Dior is model Silke Van Daal.

Ralph & Russo

Structured pieces with sequins and sparkles were featured all over Ralph & Russo’s spring 2018 designs. The collection also featured many shades of pink and blue, with ruffles and embroidered flowers. Pictured in Ralph & Russo is model Maria Borges.

Chanel

Chanel is known for it’s feminine designs, tweed fabrics and lacy details, and the spring collection featured a lot of it. Pictured in Chanel is model Graze Elizabeth.

Georges Hobeika

Georges Hobeika’s spring designs went a bit against the grain, featuring rich colors and sequins steering clear of typical pastels and florals giving us definite greek goddess vibes. Pictured in Georges Hobeika is model Madison Headrick.
