They'll be better than people realize, should at least make it to semi finals depending on their knockout path. :idk:

Came here to ask which animal we think will be predicting the outcome of each game, then in the interim saw Susie the psychic pig pick the winner of England-Croatia. No really.

Italy in total control so far, albeit without causing Turkey any major problems.

Commentators talking about poor Chiellini like it's a wonder he's still alive.

Check out her shirt. :nicole:

Quite impressed by the fluidity of Il Mancio's system tonight. Should be interesting to see how Italy get on against a better side than Turkey, who despite being touted as potential tournament dark horses beforehand, looked decidedly naff.

Wales will be delighted with a point after being on the rack for long periods. On this evidence, the old guard of Bale, Ramsey and Allen are effectively retired.

For everyone watching at home, there was a blessed relief at the start of the second half when technical difficulties muted Robbie Savage's microphone.

That was really difficult to watch, I hope Eriksen is okay.

EDIT:

Good news.

Indeed. I can honestly say that was one of the most harrowing things I've ever seen, in football or anywhere else. The medical staff deserve a massive amount of credit for their individual and collective responses to what happened.

Seems astonishing that there'd be any expectation whatsoever of resuming the game tonight, here's hoping that all the players and match officials are all okay and happy to do so.

Nice one, Son. Naturally when you see the kind of scenes we witnessed yesterday, you worry about the worse case scenario. Thankfully with the news coming out since then, it would appear that Eriksen is on the mend. Still think the decision to resume was crackers, mind.

Good results for England and Belgium as the Marxist revolution draws ever closer.

Job done. Group stage football in a nutshell really: occasional glimpses of skill and verve but largely a tepid affair lacking ambition. That said, only wild horses could drag me away from a weekday afternoon date with Scotland-Czech Republic.
