Probably sound like her publicist at this point over how much I'm commenting on her right now but it's because she imitated a Buddha cookie by squinting her eyes, apologised for it late and on Weibo instead of her other social media. But that's far from enough for a ban. Speculating she's been banned is ridiculous, especially when that (likely incorrect) article says it was a delay in her visa being issued.

 

Justin Bieber is a criminal and Beyoncé performed for Qaddafi. There are legitimate reasons for bans whether people see them or not.

I read the article and there's no real updates on Gigi - they just included her for clickbait. 

They're suggesting that since 4 visas haven't been issued perhaps Gigi will also be denied. 
Then went as far as to suggest she's fighting with Taylor Swift (+ clicks!)
Basically they saw an opportunity to link Gigi in with this and post an article on her.
They then padded it with rumours/things we already knew
