Agree - she's got an athletic body type which quite a lot of people actually aspire to these days (think "strong is the new sexy etc") but in terms of beauty I suppose Grace/Zuri are facially more attractive

Last year Martha and Lais walked away with nothing while Josephine had a segment and opening and the SO, and that was with one less Angel than this year. There's bound to be some girls who will get nothing and some girls who will get extra things. I don't think Candice will open the show, but I think it's possible she'll get something extra like an opening + closing or two openings like Karolina and Gisele in 2006. Jasmine had the FB last year so she's a good candidate to get nothing this year, but VS never had a WOC open the show and they seem to be pushing for diversity so I think she's a strong candidate for that reason alone. And poor Sara is a wild card, I'd be willing to put money on her not getting anything this year but she seems overly excited and I hope she has a good reason for it.

 

The Asians, especially Ming and Sui are another wild card. I wouldn't be shocked if they walk away with an opening/closing each

Lmao I don't. I think the injury is bullshit. Regardless if she was injured around the time of castings, she did absolutely no work for the brand. Her contract ended and her spot in the show disappeared long before she had the excuse.

She wasn't, she was spotted at the castings   Do these women think we're stupid? Castings were in August, show is in November, that's three months to recover from whatever injury you have and walk down the runway. If VS likes you they'll cast you and let you recover. They did't get cast and are making up excuses to cover for it.

 

The only one I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt is Paige because she really did work a lot for VS this year and she wasn't even in NYC for castings and had posted about it before/after castings. But for all I know she could be bullshitting too

Ya I agree. I think I phrased my words weirdly. Let me redo it. Too bad she got dropped like the way she did but her excuse is sad in a way that it's pitiful and makes her look desperate. "Oh look I walked last year, I mean if it weren't for my injury .... " It's just laughably pathetic .... She could have wished good luck and move on. The injury had nothing to do with her spot on the show !

I wouldn't bet on Jasmine being left out of things. She remains one of the favorites in advertising and the brand loves her. She has one of the better walks and has consistently pulled off great performances, especially with the FB. I don't believe she'll snag something as big as the show opening (as much as I would love that), but I do think she'll open or close a segment.

I mean Kelly mentioned she has an injured foot and she is walking. Soo.. . Lol she even deleted her agressive "let my foot break after the show rant" story once she realised that makes her sound like a maniac
