October 10, 20231 yr The NATO-Ukrainian counteroffensive has totally failed despite the repeated disinformation & false claims of the administration about the power of magical Western wonder weapons. The much prepared dozen-odd NATO trained brigades have performed poorly and have been shot to pieces. Western press/MIC admit that they have expended their reserve stocks of munitions & AFVs. The Russian continue to squat on occupied territory and are busy increasing military production, recruiting, and developing their reserve army for the second invasion. In the current situation the only way to take the 4 occupied provinces is for the US/NATO to use nuclear weapons and engage in nuclear war with Russia. Likewise, the only way Russia can destroy the Ukrainian army in the near term is to use nuclear weapons.

John Kirby (Pentagon Spokesman who has lied for 1 1/2 years about the war in Ukraine) is either confused or is full agreement and the reporter can't believe it lol. If that's what Grandpa thinks, he should retire right now. This statement is dangerous. As much as I think that protecting the environment is important, the risk of freaking nuclear winter is very high if someone pushes the nuclear button (even if it's a tactical nuke, there will always be escalation). This is way worse than climate change.

Putin nuking Ukraine is a hypothetical. One I don't believe will ever become a reality because he cares too much about his own hide and there is no scenario in which he deploys nukes in which he survives. Meanwhile, climate change is already costing lives and billions in infrastructure each and every year. Just this Summer, parts of Greece had the equivalent of a year's worth of rain in Belgium (so not the annual rainfall in much dryer Greece itself) over the course of two days. But apparently you are insane if you say you care more about those real-life costs that are ongoing and ever more costly than some hypothetical notion of nuclear war. Okay. Maybe I should worry about aliens invading too, while I am at it.

It's bonkers to me to find something that is already happening, already costing lives and destroying homes, roads, businesses, ... is deemed less of an issue that some vague and minor threat of nuclear war. A threat that was there for fifty years during the cold war but it was never used an excuse to not care about other stuff.

No. I precisely said the opposite. Could you read before getting angry? That's what really bothers me with the internet. Lots of people don't read. They want to pick a fight, so they attack straw men for the sake of it

You're right. The internet is one of the prime culprit. The internet is a big generator of "sad passions" It really makes me sad to see how people get angry for things that don't really matter. I include myself in all this mess.
October 15, 20231 yr Biden in 2022 made the totally unsupported, deranged and failed claim that the "sanctions would cut Russian GDP by half". Instead Russia rebalanced and industrial sector is at 12% growth last I checked. Germany appears to have suffered the most under the sanctions. This is a youtuber in a Moscow Mall, it is interesting how the Russians took over the Western businesses and made knock-offs.

Stars coffee with the Soviet officer logo is funny Russian women are really beautiful. I've been there and I remember how great they were, just like she shows on the video. And they're way sweeter than Western women, with also more traditional views. All things considered (beauty, personality), I'd say that the average Russian girl is twice better than the average Western woman (and on par with the best Western women).

Musk is not alone in thinking that the overabundance in MBA degrees is ridiculous. The real question is, who created the positions that mean that so many such graduates can find jobs? What is definitely true is that those guys (and girls) are overpaid in general. What I have found after twenty years of experience is that almost any decently sized company or organization will have far too many middle-management roles. Most companies could weed out over half of those out and it wouldn't make any real difference to their productivity and it would save them a bundle in wages.
