I find him very polite and rather civilized. I don't know many people in the media (or elsewhere) who are of this quality in a debate (and debate is really important in democracies). I've heard of this guy before, though I don't know him much, but this interview gave me the impression that he is a pretty decent guy. He looks polite and ready to discuss: we need more people like this guy (whatever their political side). I'll go ahead and give a look at what he does.

He has authority to speak for the particular subject and his speech rung a bell. I'm not studying in USA or Canada ....in my country is not uncommon some professors (usually from the left) to be more interested in their political agendas instead of educating their students.

I've listened to a couple of hours of his "best of" clips on youtube last year. I remember agreeing with about 50% of the things he said. He is strongest when he talks about Jungian psychology and also psychological knowledge that is politically incorrect but true. Another fatal conceit is that he fashions himself as a self help guru- but his message is very similar to that of the naive and ignorant Christian mold, lifestyle& mentality (such as Dr. Henry Cloud) of individual responsibility and relationships. However, we are in a post-industrial, global economy in the 21st century, not in the dynamics of a pre-industrial religion. He is basically a traditional, Christian conservative that uses science to mask his message with effective rhetoric. His Anti-SJW stance is largely correct but since he is so anti-establishment that he offers little that is constructive for social problems. So when he's good he's very good and when he's bad, he's terrible.
