Gisele killed it but to be honest i would prefer to see a sportsman at the  opening ceremony instead of a model. Seriously why a model opened the biggest 'sport' event in the world while the host country has a lot of iconic athletes. And its not just me, i read many critics about this issue.

I agree, I think an athlete should've opened the ceremony, no offense but a model should not be Brazil's biggest pride and joy when it comes to a sport event.

My opinion so don't kill me lol but I feel like that should've been for either the current biggest Brazilian athlete or more appropriately a past big named athlete ... Sorry I just don't think that was a place for a model.

An athlete to represent A Garota de Ipanema? .. and in Brazil Gisele is more than just a model lol.. but I understand your opinion but to me it was a perfect combination

If it was Adriana instead of Gisele you all would scream like crazy saying that she deserved to open and was the only candidate for this role, like who will do it better if not a model?

Like I said i have no problem with Adriana not representing that country. Although she did still. I would have been fine if yesterday didn't happen.
