But slowness, chillness too, make people from here a tad more nice, less "tense" eventually. Even if they are as much "nervous" lol There's not a big difference in the end. Can i ask why your friend had to leave from Paris ? And where is she gone after it ?

Lyla
@jj3@frenchkiki my friend is Hungarian just like me, lived and lives in smaller cities than Paris. And she had to leave because her scholarship was over. I don't understand though why these infos are important in this case. I guess there are a lot of unsuccessful unhappy people who still loves Paris even if its population is rude. Or maybe it's not even rude. I guess everyone has different standards based on where are they come from. And jj, Natalie Portman's problem was that they were rude if she didn't wait a few seconds after Bonjour. She should have learned the habits there though and use them properly. Anyways, I have nothing to do with Paris as I've never ever even been there, of course I want to visit and some suspected rudeness won't hold me back from that. I would say the rudest people on average I have encountered in a "big" city would be in Amsterdam. Though I do think it does help - in general - if you can speak the language in France. Haha, my other friend who lives in the Netherlands for years don't like Amsterdam either. I'd rather not say what did she say about it Language is surely important to learn if you move to a different country. They accept you more easily then. Stromboli1
In my travels around the world, I've encountered rude & nice people in every place I've been. I would say there have been way more nicer people than rude ones.
Lyla
Of course. But if you live somewhere you get to know the place and its people better. @Stromboli1

lostdiadem
Because no one else in the world except for Italy knows how to do a proper pasta dish you're all copycats. And probably pizza is easier to prepare so it's easier to find places where you can eat it in a good quality. But can't be the same with pasta. So that's why you all think the opposite

I have to agree with this. I have eaten pasta in a bunch of countries but the ones I had in Italy were just something else
