Cult Icon Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 The physical acting of this show (particularly Ragner) is very good but the actors themselves have little vocal charisma. In films about the romans, british accents are often used but here the rather dry/neutral accents (Scandinavian?) don't really inspire much. The people in this show are so pretty and have white teeth..kind of takes a bit out of how haggard I'd always imagined Vikings to be. The actors seem to be channeling punk rockstars (music included)..which is rather contemporary. The show hasn't really hooked me on yet.
