This show as originally planned to have 7 seasons and now it's cut down to 5- I wonder if for S4 they will change direction or will continue making things up and disappointing fans. I hope that Witcher continues to have a future in TV after this, but with a better team..

I think that real love is very hard to put on-screen because to me it takes at least 10+ years and a lot of situations that test if the relationship can work. A movie is too short to really show that. Maybe a TV series could do that but I haven't seen one yet. Real love is unglamorous and underappreciated for the most part, and too boring to show on TV. In movies they generally put what I consider to be an exciting short-term relationship/desire for the other person.

Well, I believe everybody have got their own opinion, preferences, lovestyle or ideal real love relationship, or want to live different types. Sometimes cinema and series can show different Styles, stories, examples. As you, in 10 or last 20 years old, I met different opinions and Styles, some people believe LOVE IS torture and pain, others want LOVE as pleasure, some believe LOVE IS only passion, others find love when they have own family... What are your favorite of them, films and series?

But I like the way how the focus on their relationship isn't only based on physically attraction but mutual interests, fun and saving EACH OTHER. Jack is probably the first person ever not only LISTENING to Rose but supporting her dreams. She's probably also the first person not giving a shit about his low position in society. They just "see" each other. I think that's a pretty good base for a relationship) Eric & Ariel (The Little Mermaid) (I was obsessed with the animated 1989 version but I think the life action movie did Ariel and Eric as a couple even BETTER. Fleshing him out and making him drawn to the ocean in a parallel to Ariel being drawn to land is so good. and kind of increasing that human vs merfolk tension to make it this romeo & juliet love story. I mean Eric sees Ariel turning back into a mermaid in front of him and all he does is holding her tighter. they're both gigantic nerds. he's a foot taller than her. it's incredible lol) Henry & Danielle (Ever After) (I just like couples that are equals - even when he's technically above her befitting. I mean, it's nice that he comes to get her, but she has no problem saving herself. I also like the fact that unlike everyone else around him, she just tells him what she thinks and he loves it so much) Noah & Allie (The Notebook) (good god I love their passion!!! I mean half the movie they arguing with each other but even though they're so different they're crazy for each other. I think Allie is one of my favorite female movie characters ever. she's a firestorm and I love Noah for never loosing the patience and handling her gently when she's coming for him - sometimes also physically. Maybe that's a double standard on my part, because if their roles were reversed, it wouldn't work at all LOL) Inman & Ada (Cold Mountain) (I could imagine that their relationship is kinda representive for many war relationships. I also absolutely believe he just dropped everything and marched back to her the only comfortable, soft, pure thing left in his life. I can FEEL their mutual longing every time I watch this movie) Landon & Jamie (A Walk to Remember) (as a teen I really loved them. I mean it's the typical good girl/bad boy dynamic but they're just too sweet with each other. I also love how PROTECTIVE and thoughtful he is never pushing her limits once and respects her even the parts he didn't really understand) Leo & Paige (The Vow) (I love how she finds her way back to him even though -SPOILER- she never got her memory back. even more impressive it's a true story. love them and love Leo for never ever giving up on her ONCE no matter how poorly she's treating him) Alex & Rosie (Love Rosie) (the besties to lovers never gets old right? I think it also happens a lot in real life. I think the movie also shows very realisticly how seemingly insignificant decisions are influencing our life and that we're really have to talk with each other otherwise we're wasting so much time) Jesse & Celine (Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight) (probably one of the most 'realistic' love stories/trilogies about love ever made. especially the 3rd part is hard to watch imo seeing them becoming what they actually never wanted - those movies might be something for you @Cult Icon) Tristan & Susannah (Legends of the Fall) (Now, I'm not entirely sure if Tristan really loved Susannah, but for heaven's sake, SHE loved him DESPERATELY and I feel so much compassion for her. The absolute inability to let him go, no matter how much he kept pushing her away. I mean, at some point in our lives, we've probably all experienced unrequited love) Victoria & Albert (Young Victoria) (another supportive man. I love supportive men of a woman in charge lol) Anakin & Padme (Star Wars) (they're my roman empire also unhealthy love isn't that uncommon I'm afraid) tv shows: Connell & Marianne (Normal People) (watched this mini series at least 3 or 4 times. I love it and the honest protrayal of them. Yeah it contains lots of sex but also so much more. Their relationship is troubled but also evolving in a very credible way. they felt incredible real to me) Charlotte & George (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) (they made me cry. she's so supporting no matter his mental condition she must be a hell of a woman what a role model. George was so lucky to have her) Dexter & Emma (One Day) (another from besties to lovers and so much better than the movie because it adds soooo much more of the book. The end made me a sobbing mess)

June 11, 2024Jun 11 @Jade Bahr @Lilja K @saber @danny-19 @Cult Icon And about Spider- man couples, what do you prefer? * Superman is faithful but boring, he has got only one girlfriend, hasn't he?

I didn't believe for a sec nobody on his highschool had a crush on him. I mean c'mon he's gorgeous and adorable 😅 I'm also still a bit disappointed Amazing Spider Man 3 never happened. Would have loved to see how Andrew and Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane had worked together. Unfortunately she was already cut from the 2nd movie. https://www.justjaredjr.com/2013/02/25/shailene-woodley-red-hair-for-amazing-spider-man-2-filming/

Same for Peter Parker. Those boys came around a lot actually 😄 https://screenrant.com/every-spider-man-girlfriend-love-interest-comics/ https://www.cbr.com/spider-man-peter-parker-girlfriends/
June 12, 2024Jun 12 I'm somehow a bit curious about the new Superman David Corenswet and his Louis Lane Rachel Brosnahan. He's for sure an improvement over that bore of a tree Cavill.
