You guys gotta post ur favorites.  That's tradition .  I am going to need some time... time to carefully regard these photos objectively and pick the most aesthetically appealing!  Get your minds out of the gutter!  But right now my vision is so bleary I can't see shit... HAHA!

the SI app only lists 19 models!  emily r, samantha hoopes, cris urena, hannah f. and lauren mellor are only listed under bodypaint.  their non-bodypaint pictures and videos aren't provided. 

I have studied the magazine scans, but not yet all of the website shots.

But based on what I have seen so far, I like Marloes and Natasha.

And Kate, this might be - it likely is - her best SISE yet.

I think most girls nailed it. Great group of rookies. Take out Lauren and Samantha for me personally and I'd kick Chrissy and Kate B to the curb. But everyone else delivered. I cannot stand Chanel and I think she looks rather good.

But Hannah D, Lily, Sara, Bregje, Natasha, Genevieve just nailed it. Really steal the mag for me.

Going through it all now to pick my best pictures.

I think we can all agree this one is the best one in years. Remember the one (I think) two years ago where every shot was awkwardly over photoshopped?

As a person who had never seen a SI swimsuit mag before (this is when everybody say WHAT?!) I think is great. I loved the pics. I'm just going to say Sara nailed it :3!

LineUp, photoshop ... ! Everything is GOOD 

Just quickly went through most of the pics and I'll say, without having read any other comments on here, that the "photoshopping the nips out" complaint is quite invalid this year.  

 

First impression: best pics in years!  Even the more traditional swimsuit photos are better this year.

 

I'm gonna catch my breath and then check the videos.  I've said for years the videos have been better than the pics because of the photoshop factor, but the bar has been raised this year it appears.  

Just woke up and saw everything. Kind of speechless at the moment!!

Now this is going to come to a shock to some of you, but I actually found a couple
Nina pics that didn't make me want to put a dwarf. Awesome...there's always hope

right? Nina is Nina. She stays, or she goes, doesn't matter either way.

100% better this year, but something in her face just doesn't connect for me. The

location was stunning though; A+ for that. Another model I could do without seeing

next year.

Like Kate Bock, I liked some of her pics, others I didn't care at all for. Not much to say

about her.

• Samantha Hoopes

If Marisa Miller's dad had sex with Sofia Vergara... you'd get Samantha. The poor

man's version of Marisa Miller. Do not want! Not even a a long shower could

make me feel clean after looking at it. O.o

I expected more... I dunno what, but more. It seems like with Sara it doesn't matter who

she's working for, at the end of the day her work always looks the same. Half of her pics
could of been taken out of a H&M summer catalog, the other half from VS when they
were still semi creative. On the plus side she looks beautiful...

• Irina

Same case as Sara Sampaio. Every time Irina puts on a swimsuit her work looks the same

as previous years. That blending in of pics isn't good sign imo. I think she had five knock
out pics for me, the rest are just meh... seen it.

Oh how I love some Hannah, but tonight we got into a fight and I need to cool off
before I say something mean. I liked about half her pics, the other half I could do
without ever seeing again. Hannah you are better then this. Come back one more

and try realllllly hard to nail it.. mkay. thanx

Body is lovely but the face just isn't doing it for me. Why the hell does she

always looks 10 times better is SASI?

Do... want...now? This is the first year I was blown away by Jess. If she keeps

this up she'll nail a cover for sure. All and all great pics.

I liked some of her pics, others I stared at. All and all I think this is the first year I
liked any of her pics, so that's saying something. I don't like Anne in print, and she's

much better in motion imo. Anne quit modeling and go into acting or something.

I thought last year she was much better. I dunno why she seemed off to me this year

which is sad because I like Natasha.

Normally I'm a fan but something about this shoot made her look dirty (not the bronzer),

and not in a good way, like need a shower to remove the icky. She looked a tad better in

Body Paint... go figure, Emily looking better naked. Disappointed in her appearance

and frankly I don't care if she comes back.

Well... she has some nice looking suits... The nicety stops there.

• Lauren Mellor

Pretty girl, decent body, bad model. Basically she's your hometown Maxim girl

of the week. If she comes back next year then she better step up her game.

Didn't like her, didn't hate her. It's nice to see she's grown into her body some.

Is she right for SI? Not at this point.

Esti 2.0. I had low expectations for her, and while some of her pics pleased me

most were as expected. Meh. Apathetic at best. Pretty girl though.
Thank god she's getting her education.

have nothing negative to say about her, or her work. Great!

Liked one or two of her shots, but other then that, nope. I dunno
what it is about her but she reminds me of a Chola, and not in a
good way... and then of course I cannot unseen the cartoon like

<__>. Body looks nice though!

Another one I wanted to see do better, and let me say this once; please see a
dentist soon. Perfection so close, yet so far away. Her appearance in the magazine

left me feeling apathetic at best.

If there was ever a case of needing a post-it this would be it. Lovely body, but
that face... O.o  I wasn't expecting much, didn't get much. No harm, no foul, just

post-it and please never come back.

• Cris Urena

Meh... don't really care enough to form an opinion for the good or the bad. Though she
does have some very pretty shots, but after looking at the parade of Maxim girls she
doesn't really belong standing next to them. Cris you're in a whole other league. This

is a good thing.

NAILED IT! I'm proud of her. She stepped up her game, and the scenery...

so beautiful! No sand, or surf in sight. I approve!

I'm not saying this because I'm a fan, okay maybe a little, but Kate nailed it. Best
pics she's done for SI.There's one or two I can deal without, but all and all she was
the stand out for me. Kate The Great *fingers crossed for 4th cover*

 

 

Best issue to have come out in the last ten years despite my issues with so many of the girls.

So Kate Upton's cover is just on the flip side of the magazine?  At first I thought there were two editions of the magazine, one with Nina/Chrissy/Lily, the other with Kate.
