June 29, 20168 yr Supermodels old and new - including Amber Valletta, Milla Jovovich and Taylor Hill - join forces for Jimmy Choo campaign (and Kendall and Gigi are nowhere in sight) Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid may be the models of the moment, with Vogue hailing the duo 'the new supermodels', but Jimmy Choo has other ideas. The footwear giant has enlisted a stunning cast of supermodels - both old and new - for its AW16 campaign. Industry stalwarts such as Amber Valletta and Milla Jovovich are joined by new faces like Taylor Hill and Jasmine Tookes, who are two of Victoria's Secret's new Angels. 'Spanning different ages and cultures, each model embodies the essence of the Jimmy Choo woman; an innate confidence, effortless glamour and daring spirit,' they say of the campaign, which was shot by Kate Moss' friend, Craig McDean, in New York. 'The Autumn Winter campaign is a reflection of the characters who embody the Jimmy Choo brand values both during the past 20 years and into the future. It is a modern vision for our woman and signals a bold new chapter,' said Sandra Choi, Creative Director. Amber Valletta, 41, is arguably the most famous face in the campaign. After hitting rock bottom while struggling with addiction in her teens and early 20s, Amber - now sixteen years clean - is focused on saying healthy. 'I sniffed markers, I sniffed glue, fingernail polish, anything that could give me a buzz ... then I found drugs that were around the culture of my family,' she explained in a live talk with MindBodyGreen.com last year, before adding that she tried marijuana for the first time at age 10 and went on to drink excessively and snort cocaine. 'I had a multi-million [dollar] deal and I showed up the first day to shoot this campaign high and drunk,' she said. 'Addiction takes you to the worst places. I showed up to my uncle's bedside and he was dying and I was still high, still drunk and looking for a place to go do another line.' Now clean for over sixteen years - a feat which she shared on Instagram with the hashtags #grateful and #blessed - she continues her efforts to be happy and healthy by treating her body right - and proves she's still got what it takes to cut it in the fashion industry. She eats a healthy diet, which includes green juices, raw almonds, and whole wheat wraps. 'I eat really clean and really simple: brown rice, a quinoa bowl, grilled fish, veggies, a big salad,' she told Allure in 2014. 'I appreciate fine foods, but that’s not how I eat day to day.' Meanwhile, Milla Jovovich, 40, is as famous for her good looks as her acting career, having starred in The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc and Return to the Blue Lagoon. Newer faces include Jasmine Tookes, 24, who was discovered in her fashion stylist mother's showroom. As a child, she practiced gymnastics for 14 years and played high school volleyball. Her breakthrough campaigns were in 2010 for Ugg boots and Gap. Despite her trim figure, she is a self-confessed 'foodie' who loves trying new and exotic meals. At just 19, Taylor Hill is a hot new industry face. She was scouted while on a horse ranch in Colorado by Jim Jordan, an agent who is also a photographer. She was quickly snapped up to star in Intimissimi's catalogue, has modelled for H&M and was one of the faces of Rosa Cha with Erin Heatherton, Frida Gustavsson and Barbara Palvin.
