October 1, 201113 yr ^ I wasn't big fan of Nina Ricci this year. It was a little all over the place for me. But I adored the hair and make-up. It was so simple and feminine. It really made all the models look beautiful. And the cast was near flawless. But the outfits themselves... Christian Dior was surprisingly... Not surprising this year. I actually think I kinda liked it.
October 1, 201113 yr ^Well, this is the first collection of Dior since Galliano firing.... I really liked it, too. I saved photos of almost every look from this show.
October 3, 201113 yr Ok, so here's my opinion! Danni: Oh yes, I am in love with Viktor & Rolf - the collection, their cast...I have nothing to complain about. It was just beautiful. Jude: I was so surprised by Dior - after their horrible HC show I really expected something ugly but it was really chic and elegant. Paris Favourites so far: Givenchy !!! Rue du Mail Anne Valerie Hash Underwhelmed by Giambattista Valli, Lanvin, Hermes and Yves Saint Laurent.
October 4, 201113 yr So this season is almost over .. and these are my favorite new faces (not saying they did the most shows just my personal favorites) Romee Strijd -strong walk, and she's gorgeous Valerija Sestic- so pretty and you can see she really likes what she is doing Frida Aasen- Stunning Lucette van Beek-She really stood out at Versace, gorgeous girl Jasmine Tookes -interesting to see her go from SI model search to successful runway model but I'm really happy for her merilin perli -she did resort shows but I want to include her anyway
October 5, 201113 yr Author Romee Strijd - Resembles Candice S. But she's a classic beauty. Valerija Sestic - She's so pretty, reminds me of Hailey Clauson sometimes, But she's only 15. It's a shame they banned her from Paris FW. Still.. A favorite of mine. Here are some of my favorite new faces. They've done so many good show's such as Chanel, YSL, LV, Valentino & Many others. And there stunning which is a plus.
October 5, 201113 yr I'm actually so underwhelmed by the new faces this season - just way too many young girls who really resemble eachother so much. I really like Jasmine Tookes though!
October 6, 201113 yr I forgot to mention Sara Sampaio and Cora Keegan even though they barely did any shows.. I really loved the makeup at Louis Vuitton it really flattered all the girls. I could have seen this look on Candice easily. Wish she would have done more shows as well.
October 6, 201113 yr So I just want to apologize in advance to anyone who disagree's with me, but I thought Paris Fashion Week was near flawless this year. Everything was so pretty and, ugh, I could seriously hardly contain myself. It made up for the crappyness of most of the other fashion weeks this season, for me. Just some I really, really liked: Sonia Rykiel (Alright, so the collection wasn't that great this season, but Sonia is quite possibly my favorite designer, so she automatically makes it on the list.) Elie Saab (I seriously wish I could post every single design from this collection here. It was so flawless. And another one of my favorite designers, anyway.) Miu Miu (The last few seasons I haven't been wowed by Mui Mui, but this season I was pleasantly surprised.) Alexander McQueen (Keeping McQueen's legacy strong.) Chloe Alexis Mabille (Another near flawless collection for me this season.) + Valentino, Chanel, Costume National, Commuun, Louis Vuitton and many, many more...
October 6, 201113 yr ^A huge YES to Alexis Mabille, Chloe and Alexander McQueen. Especially Alexis Mabille!But I was dissapointed by MiuMiu - I loved their last collection but not really this time.
