Theron Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 In the last decade she has about 5 nominations for Academy Awards.. so to say she shouldn't be allowed is a tad bit ridiculous. It was an irony, pay attention to the smiley after my sentence. Similar to what Sandra Bullock once said: "The Acadamy Awards shouldn't even nominate Meryl Streep anymore. She should just be given an award every year. There should just be the Meryl Streep category". She probably won't win here, but if the contest was done amongst professional movie critics the main interest would be to see who finally comes in 2nd place. List your top 20 actresses based on talent with their best performance of the last decade (2000-2010) in parenthesis next to their name. They will not be countred without that performance in parenthesis . Yes there's a separate list for performances, but since I can't make anyone focus on talent rather than looks, I figure somoene randomly putting Carmen Electra is one thing, but having to put "Scary Movie 6" next to her name should at least make them think twice maybe . 2. No, but I understand because I suddenly realize that two of my favorites (Angela Basset and Kathy Bates) haven't got much work in the last decade . Is this how we are supposed to vote? Though since the second list is best individual performance (for example someone who only got to star in one movie and it was an amazing performance), so you have to say the name of the movie. OK, I am too lazy for that You're probably not alone . How about this, first list is manditory and second two lists are optional...and I'll pm people from the actress forum to make up the difference...
