Now, I know it's some ways away, but my best friend (Mirror's Venus) asked me recently what I planned on doing/getting for my man on V-Day. Honestly? I haven't done anything of note for V-Day since MIDDLE school. Why? Because I always hated that holiday (teenage angst years :x ) and my significant other was usually a dumb-ass douche who didn't care whether I cared or not... But this year, I have a sweetie who melts my frigid bitch heart () and I don't know what to do.

I figure it's early enough as to where I can just milk you guys for a month about what to do.

HELP ME!

I know the usual answer has to do with sex, and well, DUH, but he gets that anyway, so I want something I can actually give him or do something that is sweet/special. I know, what the f*ck am I doing being sweet? THIS GUY I TELL YOU!

Cook him his favorite dinner, buy his favorite booze and do something in the bedroom that you normally wouldn't do. Anal sex, buy a stripper pole or something like that.

Do everything you normally do that day

watch a movie, clean, cook(his fave meal), computer time. Naked, and act totally normal until you jump his bones.

^This sounds like an absolutely splendid evening. I heartily approve of this suggestion.

Given that you want something that sex isn't the inevitable conclusion to though, I'd therefore turn to the stomach. I've got enough 'stuff' lying around you know? So something I could either eat or drink - but fucking devour - in a gourmand way (and I'm sticking with 'actual' foodstuffs and drinks here!) would just be the business. post-11221-0-1446012860-69597_thumb.gif But present it Ophelia's way!

V-Day is pure tack though. Make sure you don't get anything "especially created for Valentine's Day". That shit'll just be novelty at twice the price, and smacks of a lack of imagination...

He's a guy, if he's anything like 98.8% of our gender, anything you get him will do.

Am I fool for thinking men actually care about the effort we put into things? Am I deluded in thinking mine is special like that? AM I AN IDIOT?!

I'm thinking anal.... Ugh... He loves it and I'd rather get a case of jaundice. FML.

You don't even have to give him anything as long as you honor this very important holiday:

Oh wow. I'll remember this.

I like that one A LOT! But the second he sees me naked, he's going to wanna have sex. I sort of can't stop him. Ever. He's strong! Really strong! He's not rape-y or anything... I just give into him easily.

I'm planning on cooking for him. :hehe: And tacky V-Day stuff isn't my thing. That entire holiday isn't my thing! :ninja: I might wear red at some point though. Is that too cliche or just enough Valentines-y?

what about this, make a sexy tape of yourself doing something SUPER naughty, that why he has something to watch when your gone, unless you already have done that

I don't like Sex In the City but I found this to be a great idea :p

I cannot sit still for the life of me... and I LOVE sushi... I'd eat it before he came come and he's just be like: "Why are you laying there naked?" To which I'd smile sheepishly and be like: "Cause you like to do me?"

I like that one a lot actually.

^That's just right, I suppose... No hearts though! <_<

And, apologies, I didn't mean cooking - I meant if you wanted to buy a present aside from whatever sexual shenanigans you might get up to on the night itself, then get him some really good food or drink. To be consumed another day!

A couple of years ago I received some white truffle slices - and those thing were marvellous. They're not something I'd have been inclined to buy for myself, and they didn't end up gathering dust on a shelf or forgotten at the back of a drawer. Rather, they were enjoyed! (Plus, they have aphrodisiac qualities. ;) ) But that's just me, I love cooking (and eating)...

You don't want to eat too much on Valentine's night anyway, I'd recommend a late-night indoor picnic, tapas style. It would be foolish to feel full, wouldn't it?
