March 3, 201015 yr OK, so I gave in and finally tried Passion Pit, I love it. :| NA NA NANANANA HEY HEY HEEEEY! :hell yea!: I know nothing of this band / if you like MGMT, you will like them
March 3, 201015 yr I don't think they're anything like MGMT to be honest. Other than they use electronic effects.
March 4, 201015 yr well, they're like the new hipster posterboys so I'm sure you'll be all over them. Nah, it's too late. If they're already popular, I can't claim to have known them before they were cool.
March 13, 201015 yr Think About Life. I don't know if they're known outside their hometown but they have several shows comming all across the place. 2 of their shows ended up in my top 5 concerts of last year. For about 12$ you should give it a try, you will thank me after!http://www.myspace.com/thinkaboutlife
March 24, 201015 yr Interpol, The Decemberists, Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear, Ikara Colt and The Low Anthem.
March 28, 201015 yr Author I've been listening to The Very Best of Macy Gray as of late. A great compilation indeed.
March 29, 201015 yr The Tragically Hip (Amazing Canadian rock band, Nothing Fancy) Rush (I never am not into these guys ) Camel (Great Prog Variety from Pure Prog to Jazz Periods and Back) Matthew Good (Amazing Local Artist) Stevie Wonder (Such an Amazing Voice)
April 8, 201015 yr Justice are rumoured to be releasing a new album once they move from Ed Bangers I've been listening to a fair bit of Yeasayer, Pendulum, Angus & Julia Stone and Two Door Cinema Club
April 9, 201015 yr Laura Marling, Joanna Newsom, Field Music, Grizzly Bear (still) and Dum Dum Girls.
April 9, 201015 yr The new Joanna Newsom? How is it? I've yet to listen to it...Disc 1 was so boring I started counting the amount of hairs on my eyebrows to distract myself from the relentless tedium. Couldn't even face the thought of listening to the other two. Classic example of following up a universally acclaimed album (which I liked very much) with a self-indulgent meticulous dullard, where no one dares advise you to edit. But hey she's so pretty and Pitchfork told me she's da bomb so i dun reely kn0.
April 10, 201015 yr ^ Oh Pitchfork. and I know what you mean about those self indulgent efforts after having an acclaimed album, not hers but they all do it. anyway, I'm Still very much into Passion Pit and the this hip hop duo from Philly, Chiddy Bang. they're the next big thing people. become a fan before those late hipsters!!!!
