Exactly what I told myself. She wasn't used for months and now she's basically on every shoot

Jo and Jas were shooting together today, and I believe Lily and Elsa shoot something together as well. I'm guessing it might have been filming the little in between segments for the show because it didn't seem like a photo shoot but I'm not sure.  

 

I think the the pairings will be Ale/Adri, Lily/Elsa, Taylor/Romee, Jo/Jas, Martha/Lais, Sara/Stella? 

 

The shoot in Mexico was for a new campaign. I think only the last four girls filmed anything for it.

To me it seems like VS is using the new Angels in certain ways. Like last year was really all about Elsa, Taylor, Josephine, Jasmine and Romee. Maybe now they're going to use Martha, Lais, Sara, Stella more.

Agree about Sara and Martha, but not about Lais and Stella. I also think they'll focus again on Elsa, Taylor, Jo and Jas

I think they're still using Elsa, Taylor, Jasmine and Josephine more than the others, just liike last year. At this point VS already knows who sells better and I sincerely doubt they'll start pushing someone else when they already have a successful group. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Sara, Romee, Martha and Stella get cut next year, I'd say Lais is probably a great online seller and that's why she's been around for so long but the other four don't really seem to be in it for the long run  

 

And i can't believe Adriana and Alessandra got paired again, I used to enjoy them a lot together but it's been like a billion years, it's boring at this point. I was hoping for Lily & Alessandra, Adriana & Elsa/Martha to get paired but meh. 

 

Lais is obviously doing something right from VS to have kept her around all these years. I actually wish they give her more to do because she never gets to speak in anything. Would be great to see more of her. I don't see them

cutting down the angels anyway. Even the ones who aren't used as much are still known for being VS Angels and each have their own draw. The fans all know who they are and they obviously sell. VS have dumped girls in the past who haven't and if one of these girls weren't working by now they would have cut them.

 

If I were to edit the list down though I would get rid of Alessandra. I would keep Adriana, Behati, Candice and Lily around for the major shoots and fashion show. I would keep Elsa, Lais, Jasmine, Josephine, Taylor, and Stella to do all the major work for the company through the year. I love Sara but I don't see her going anywhere further with VS tbh. And Martha and Romee just haven't really stood out all that much. I mean I like all the current Angels for different reasons. But it would be nice to reduce the number from 14 down to at least 8-10.

I see them cutting Martha and Stella but VS has been unpredictable so  

We also have to see if ALL the girls are planning to stay. Take Sara or Romee, they both had decent careers pre-VS, the brand is not giving them priority and It doesn't seem like that will change soon. I can see Sara peacing out and moving to another swimsuit/lingerie brand that will pay her more and gives her priority, and I honestly feel like that would be the best for them to leave. Otherwise they'll end up like Alessandra who has always been on the bench and now is too old and not famous enough to move on like Gisele or Miranda did.

VS has always had 2-3 girls they make their go-to and they profit more from the brand (Gisele, Adriana, Heidi, Candice, Behati) and then there's the rest who are just there. And now there's four girls who are clearly getting the best part of the deal and the rest won't get much love unless the other four girls get knocked up (see Lily's 2016) or decide to leave (spoiler aler, they won't). And that's why you have girls like Miranda who leave when they got everything they could out of the brand and they know VS won't give them much more love. 

 

While I may not be their #1 fan, I still like Sara, Romee, Stella and Martha and I think (and hope) can all do way better if they leave at the right time, which is like, now. Especially Sara, I think Calzedonia was working out better for then than VS.

I agree. Lily is also working so much more now and has got everything she can out of VS. She's opened segments, solo commercials, been in all major campaigns and commercials, had the fb. There's no where else to go. She won't get the Behati or Candice treatment. That's why she should leave too. I think both Adriana and Alessandra really should leave also. But I think that's really more VS just hanging on to them more then anything.

I started liking her more after the VSFS15, partly because her performance on the catwalk, but also bc VS give her more screentime (focusing on her in the backstage while adriana was walking for example xD) and, after that and all the NA campaings, VS seemed to like and use her a lot (all that about Saylor) and then, she faded out a little.

 

Buuut actually i have the feeling that VS was testing her "brunettes" aka Taylor and Sara and they chose to push Taylor and get Sara as "the other one". It's so sad because really think that is Sara the one with the more mature/sexy look and charisma.

Yeah, Sara really lost a big one with Calzedonia but I'm more than sure she'll want to stay. As for Calzedonia, now that VS is done with Swim I actually think she might get it again if Calzedonia wants it. They are about to enter the American market aswell.

If Candice and Behati hadn't gotten pregnant I think Lily would have been gone after the show this year. I think they probably extended her contract by a year. As a fan of hers, I hope she leaves soon. She's gotten everything out of the brand that she can and she's not getting any younger, 31 is already pretty "old" for models. Tbh, I think she's heading into or is already in Ale territory now - been on the bench most of her time as an Angel, too "old"/not famous enough for anyone to really give a shit what she does, like with Gisele or Rosie, post-VS. I think she's peaked with VS and in general and it would be smart of her to leave and focus her time elsewhere like she's said she wants to do (skincare/beauty, Lindsay's been quite successful with her own line, same with Rosie).

 

I think Adriana will stay with them for a few more years. They've been using her for VSX like crazy and I could see her wanting to stick around until she was 37 or 38 like Heidi did. Ale needs to go tbh. I like her but they don't need her, not for the commercial or the show at this point. I've never understood Martha's appeal and think she brings nothing to the brand. I get she's American and part of Taylor Swift's ~squad~, but they have other Americans to tick that box and the hype around T. Swift's squad has died down. As much as I like Romee, they don't seem to use her for much and her career outside of VS is pretty good. Same with Sara who seems to really be picking up steam in the HF world. Stella has grown on me for VS but her work outside of it is far superior and she fits better there. It's clear that Elsa, Taylor, Josephine and Jasmine are who they're investing most of their time and money into and who they view as the future of the brand. I think that's a pretty solid group.

 

If I were in charge I'd let go of Ale and Lily first (in the next 1-2 years), then Martha, Stella and Romee (in the 2-3 years). I'd maybe throw in Lais there as much as I love her. Unless things change, and they could since VS is unpredictable, I could see Sara leaving in the next few years too. Elsa, Jasmine, Josephine and Taylor can make up the core group of groups who will be around in 5 years from now. Throw in Adriana, Candice and Behati for the big campaigns/commercials/the VSFS since we know the three of them aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

But people still like alessandra. Its just VS doesn't play on it anymore. I like Adriana more and I do think she helps them alot with the company but Ale does and can too if actually utilized lol. Vs just don't and never did put as much emphasis on her as they did Adriana.

 

For alot of people they are almost neck and neck.

 

The only reason I think Ale should be let go is because VS themselves don't go to her. Before Adriana came back, I thought she too should be let go.I kinda feel like they want to, because they NEED to, but they are scared to. She is still a big name and people still correlate VS heavily with her and she is still hot enough. But thats just me

 

But Ale is still some good herself
