I love it how Karlie won't be appealing for the general audience but people want Bregje to be an Angel? If anything she has less commercial appeal than Karlie, sure she has a hot body but her face isn't exactly the easiest to take, same happens with Maloes Horst. This. Cara is very appealing, she has this crazy personality I can imagine MANY Pink customers could relate with. She is crazy, free, funny, witty, plus she is a very good model with a great potential.

Damn. That was a short run, and we were all convinced Barbara was given as an inevitable future angel. But who knows they might still use her again ...they've done it before no? It doesn't really bother me I'm not a Palvin fan and her photos for VS weren't too stunning after her first few shoots, in my opinion

Just recently I saw her behind the scenes video of the holiday commercial again and she looked so amazing wearing that garter slip. Out of all the new Angel possibilities, she is the best in my opinion. She just has a unique face that is still very beautiful and sexy like a Victoria's Secret Angel should have! And on their website she fits right in with the VS heavyweights.

Josie didn't want to do VS (think I can count 10 images she did for them tops and that was enough). She's said working for them is about as entertaining as have a tooth pulled and would of limit her career (at the time). She was far more interested in being able to purse the modeling she wanted and so she took the Intimissimi jobs which allowed her a lot more freedom. Plus in her words "I'm not a Victoria Secret person.. l like being able to stand behind the brand I'm working for"

Petra enjoyed her brief time with them, but also didn't want to be tied down to one company. SI was also sniffing around at the time and VS doesn't like to share much so honestly she made the best choice.

We don't even know if Barbara left VS, maybe her agency told her she's too young to sell her soul to the devil VS. For all we know she could still walk the show in November & eventually go back to catalogue again after her run with Intimissi is over, she's just 19. And as i said before Barbara is not Angel material right now, maybe in a couple years but as of right now I'm happy she is doing other things.

As for Barbara outshining everyone, that is a matter of opinions and I'm sure there's plenty of people here who think she looks like crap in the commercial and that Candice/Lindsay/Behati/Someone else outshines everyone

I don't want to play the jealousy card but I agree that they might have felt a bit intimidated which is only human. I mean here comes a girl "out of nowhere" with a L'Oreal contract under her belt to shoot the biggest commercial of the year with them.

Michel Bay and Russell James were very impressed but obviously there are other more important gatekeepers because Russell James seemed to love Brooklyn Decker and she didn't do much with Vs...

Intimissimi > VS

IMO Intimissimi just has better pictures, better lingerie (doesn't look as cheap), awesome videos, and overall better models who've worked for them Past and Present.

To name just a few (and yes I realize that most of those woman worked for VS at one point, but their pictures just didn't do it. Some of them were nice, most of them just fell flat and looked generic)

Also another point Intimissimi models have a much higher chance of being able to be in SI Swim over contract VS models. Sounds like a win win to me

From a male point of view I think only 2 angels, D. Kroes and A. Lima has got the "wow" factor. The other are not ugly, maybe they has very nice face (A. Ambrosio) but if I go a popular bar/disco/plaza/high school in Hungary, or elsewhere in central-europe I find in 10 minutes a dozen girls who looks more attractive. Maybe they are not a model type, don't have the height to be a model or can't walk/act like a model did, but looks better for an avarage man than half of the angels.

Barbara clearly has that wow factor and have a very kind personality + she seem smart and entertaining, and if you listen the backstage videos/read the articles, the males who works with Barbara realize that, and that's cause some other girls might be jelaus about Barbara + Barbara doesn't really fit for the VS "skin & bone" image. I also think there are a ranking between the angels, and Barbara might be don't want to be the last one in this rank (as a rookie).
