This is all I learned from that: 1) The GoT creators/writers are not involved at all. 2) Different writers were working on ideas for many different possible shows. 3) All of those have been abandoned except for the one with Naomi Watts (and maybe another). 4) New ideas could be started in the future, but nothing is in the works now. I do agree though about the rush-iness of the last two seasons. I thought the finale episode was objectively terrible (poorly written and set up- as if a writer didn't watch most of the show or read the books received the assignment)- not sure why it is liked? I noticed in some voting stuff on youtube that people either liked the episode or thought it was garbage.
