Wow..... the US, Chile, and Holland didn't qualify for the World Cup.

There will be some more surprises when UEFA does their playoff matches.

The Netherlands didn't qualify?? How the fuck did that happen?

Now those who feigned complete ignorance like Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence look even more suspicious. And that dummy Donna Karan spoke too soon, now there are A-list stars corroborating sexual harassment allegations. It is rumoured that Donna Karan and her husband are into shady practices themselves and that she is Amber Rose’s sponsor.

Meryl clapped Polanski and Woody.  Enough said.

European qualifiers aren't easy.

This is the group Holland drew.

To give you an idea of how unforgiving they are: Switzerland won nine of their ten games and still only ended up in second place.

So they now have to play a two-game play-off to still make the world cup.

^Italy wasn’t as proficient as Switzerland in their group, but they’re in the playoff too. They went 7-2-1.

It all depends on what group you draw in UEFA too. I personally think UEFA & COMMEBOL should get the most bids on sheer quality.

I remember years ago Judith Godrèche saying in a French magazine (or on TV, can't recall)she had a bad experience in the US with a big producer.

An another French actress too but I can't remember who.

Emma de Caunes too ... Now, i remember i discovered that Weinstein during the promo of The Artist before the Oscar. I do wonder what the team of the movie have to tell about him, and all that. They said they lived with him during 2 months, they must have been aware of something.

it reminds me of the scandal of strauss-kahn, it emerged just before he was to became the president of the imf.

+1, but in an industrial scale this time ...

That story is without end it seems. The list of victims is growing everydays...

I get some people don't find it so scandalous, because it's like if we put a face on the rumor ...

But though, it's terrifying. I find.

All that will feed the various different conspiracy theory for long time i bet. "The rumor was true".

I wonder which one will say "the show must go on" in first...

UEFA and CONMEBOL are clearly the two strongest confederations overall and have the best performances in World Cups. The allocation of spots to the World Cup is not just based on strength, they also give more to CAF and AFC in hopes of growing the game more in those regions (I think that's FIFA's reasoning). If you look at the approved increase in spots for when the World Cup goes to 48 teams, those two confederations gain a lot of spots and UEFA/CONMEBOL do not.

^I totally understand what you’re saying.

My argument is that FIFA loves coefficients, so why not use it for World Cup slots based on performance by confederations in the previous tournament and it adds another element to the tournament. That way it’s always changing every 4 years. If a confederation loses spots, they need to get better.

^^   In the past, FIFA would say they based the allocation on previous World Cup performance, but the slots rarely changed much and the changes rarely matched up to the actual performance. I don't think FIFA makes those claims anymore.

What you suggested makes sense, but I think FIFA has made it clear they are not trying to just get the 32 (or 48) best teams, there is going to continue to be a focus on getting all confederations more spots. I just looked at the 48 allocation again so I would get the numbers right, UEFA will increase from 13 to 16 ad CAF from 5 to 9. That's a significant difference in increase in terms of percentage.

It would be a better tournament if it qualification spots were performance based, but it seems unlikely, unfortunately.

Oh Lindsay… Back in 2014, she said about Lawrence, "She's so fake and I'm sorry I'm not going to fuck for roles."

Rumour has it that Lindsay wanted to be one of Harvey’s girls but he wasn’t interested. And alledgedly, she is an escort now.
