November 9, 20168 yr ''Keeping Up with the Joneses'' No big deal, just a fun movie. Zach G being funny rather than weird/funny was a nice change but Isla Fisher in lingerie was worth the price of the movie alone.
November 17, 20168 yr Arrival I'm still on a bit of a post-cinema high, but this might be my favourite film of the year. Where Interstellar came up a little short after modelling itself on a similar kind of premise, this delivered in spades. There's a real emotional story at its heart, alongside some genuinely tense and exciting moments. I loved it. Villeneuve's previous movie was Sicario, which I liked a lot. His next will be the Blade Runner sequel, which on paper seems like an agonisingly bad idea, but I’m starting to think that if anyone can pull it off, he can.
November 17, 20168 yr Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I'm still so hyped OMG. Absolutely the movie of the year.
November 22, 20168 yr The Big Short-Really eye opening film. I was young when the housing market crashed and to learn about all the key players and the corruptness of it all was amazing. 9/10
November 28, 20168 yr Scary Movie second time that I see this movie and I found it funnier this time. Maybe I was in a better mood.
December 11, 20168 yr Zodiac based on real events & actual case files - kinda depressing, but overall good movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6q_MfcDEEE https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zodiac_(film)
