January 27, 201510 yr Just watch it. Amazing action movie. Keanu is amazing in it. Just watched this. I agree, amazing action movie.
January 29, 201510 yr The Interview- Watched because it was on Netflix. It was alot funnier than I thought it would be, I wasn't expecting much even though I like James Franco and Seth Rogen. But it was great, I laughed quite a bit, basically if you like Pineapple Express you'll probably like this movie too. 7/10
February 3, 201510 yr El Cantante - 8/10. I loved it and the music was everything. This is literally the only time I've ever liked Jennifer Lopez in something. It's such a sad story about Hector Lavoe but I'm glad they didn't change the facts to make him look better and it was kept real. Boyhood - -1/10. I couldn't even finish the movie because it's so incredibly boring o.O, what is the story they are even trying to tell? I mean sure it's cool they got the four main actors to come back every year but Jesus Christ this movie has no story or plot and there's so many plots in the story, it doesn't even make sense. The fact that this movie will probably win the Oscar just because ZOMG it took a thousand years to film is awful because really it doesn't deserve it at all and neither does Patricia Arquette deserve Supporting Actress IMO. This is easily the most overrated movie I've ever seen Gone Girl - 8.5/10 - Great movie, it has so many unexpected turns and you never know how it'll go and it keeps you wondering and asking about it time after time. I hated the ending tho, I wish they had done something different. Rosamund Pike kills it through the whole movie and so far she's my favorite for Best Actress.
February 8, 201510 yr Kingsman: The Secret ServiceThis was a bad ass movie. It was Kick-Ass meets James Bond. It was directed by Matthew Vaughn who directed Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class. It was his style all over and it was amazing. It was such a good spy movie. It takes on classic spy type roles and turns it all upside down. The action scenes are like never seen before. And there is one superb sequence in a church that will blow everyone away. Actually there are quite a few amazing action sequences. 10/10
February 9, 201510 yr Last movie I saw was American Sniper. It was an awesome movie and it's unfortunate that some people are taking it the wrong way. Chris Kyle is an American hero and should be revered by everyone.
February 14, 201510 yr Selma. Now this one really surprised me. I went in expecting an epic biography of the man, but it was actually quite a modest film and all the better for it. The narrower focus really allowed it to get to grips with the detail of the issues involved. A powerhouse performance from David Oyelowo too, just the right mix of historical figure and real human being. Absolutely staggering that he wasn't considered for the Oscar this year.
February 21, 201510 yr Birdman Riggan: [as Birdman] People, they love blood. They love action. Not this talky, depressing, philosophical bullshit. I love talky, depressing, philosophical bullshit, but I still can't really like this movie. It just doesn't work for me.
February 22, 201510 yr Inside Llewyn Davis Maybe if I liked folk music I would have enjoyed the movie a bit.Overall fairly depressing with only a couple laughs.
February 23, 201510 yr So I watched Jupiter Ascending and Fifty Shades of Grey. Jupiter was a big pile of flaming turd. It was hideous. Just baaaaad. Mila Kunis was terrible. Just no.And Fifty while super cheesy it wasn't as bad as reviews made it out to be. I actually didn't hate it.
February 23, 201510 yr 50 shades of Grey 3.5/10 It sucked but it sucked less than the book. Then again, the book was in a way better since it was quite entertaining in a "Did I just read that? The Eff', wait wot?" way ( I had so many laughs when reading about Christian's "considerable length" and a lot of other things I'll spare you guys) Essentially for me, the movie is bad but considering what they had to work with, I don't blame them. Still, at least the book was hilarious Since I read it before it got published, when it was still a Twilight fanfiction with Edward and Bella instead of Christian and Ana, it was twice as amusing. I dare you to picture Robert Pattinson with Kristen Stewart's stoic face while reading the tampon scene and not shit your pants laughing Ugly, Dirty and Bad (Affreux, sales et méchants) : 10/10 It's a 1976 Italian movie, I personnally watched it in French. Grotesque, somewhat of a tragycomedy and highly entertaining, it centers on this huge italian family living in a decrepit shack in the slums and surviving off thievery, crossdressing/prostitution... The partriarch has some money (work-accident compensation) and ferociously guards it against his family, not spending a dime of it while living in extreme poverty. I can't do justice to this movie, I love it and it's one of my favourites. It takes a look at life in all its obscene glory (the ugly, the dirty and the bad; the fleeting innocence that cannot survive in such an amoral context). I highly recommend it Also, the last scene (with the young girl) always makes me cry my eyes out.
February 23, 201510 yr Since I read it before it got published, when it was still a Twilight fanfiction with Edward and Bella instead of Christian and Ana, it was twice as amusing. I dare you to picture Robert Pattinson with Kristen Stewart's stoic face while reading the tampon scene and not shit your pants laughing OMGGG!!! I read it when it was the fanfiction also, and I'm just rolling in the floor laughing, that's why I never read the books, even when my sister is a fan and has all the books. And OMG, I can picture Rob perfectly, My sister is making me watch the movie tomorrow.... u___U''
February 23, 201510 yr ^ I hate you two so much I've always known it was a fanfic before getting turned in a book but I never imagined it with those two o.o. Now it can't be unseen, Imagine two hours of Kristen Stewart pretending to have emotions, it would be torture o.O IDK if I would cry or laugh
February 24, 201510 yr ^ Don't hate us.... just laugh with us. Laugh, for sure. It can't be unseen. And my sister made me watch it today... because she has to go to the Uni tomorrow. *facepalm* Just to say... It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be... I laughed a lot, made some jokes at some scenes, and my sister wanted to kill me... I had the time of my life trolling. Everytime I made a joke and my sister looked at me, I watched her back like: .... but she was laughing at some of my jokes, so we are cool.
February 25, 201510 yr American SniperGreat movie. I think it should be obligation for politics to watch it. The war is something horrific.
February 28, 201510 yr As Above So Below- Was good up until the end. The claustrophobia was real 7/10
