January 29, 201213 yr NandaI liked the Warrior; I think Tom & Joel were good, and that Nick N deserves his BS nod I look forward to hearing your thoughts about The Artist, I liked it, but I didn't feel it was at all a BP of the year . I also liked a lot... although I think they should have explored a little more the relationship between them, the movie would be a little more emotional . And yeah, the trio is great... but the highlight is on Nick Nolte... that scene of him and Tom in the hotel room is great. Wow... I can't stand to read so many comments on twitter saying how "J. Edgar" is a weak film and how wonderful is Leo in it. So bad .

January 29, 201213 yr Nanda Interesting that even though Meryl's Iron Lady is ,also, considered a weak film/lower critical rating than J Edgar , somehow, that hasn't kept her from , not only, Oscar nods but considered to be frontrunner for the BA win; yet , with Leo, the film's weakness, not any weakness in Leo's performance, we are told is why he didn't get an Oscar nod or probably , if he had, it would have held him back from a win. And why the difference between how the two similar situations are being treated ? Meryl is backed by Harvey Wow... I can't stand to read so many comments on twitter saying how "J. However, once again, we are told Nick won't win because he didn't campaign. I think Christopher Plummer is an excellent actor ; but I ,personally, found nothing Oscar worthy about his Beginners' performance. I thought Ewan M gave the stronger performance in the film Pami Exactly, the dog Uggi is adorable and very talented, but the two lead actors , IMO, could have been replaced by tons of other actors/actresses and the performances been just as good. I am also curious as to how it will work with Leo growing out his beard enough for Django (assuming he will have a beard) But I have noticed when leo would film Gatsby, then get paped soon after, it doens't look like it takes him a while to grow facial hair
