New Revenant trailer; January can't come soon enough !!!

Wow this new trailer is so intense !!! Leo morphed big time in this one and its obvious from the scenery that the shooting conditions were hard . Seriously i cant wait for january to come !♡

Edited: WOW, I'am having chills until now after watching this trailer, it's just incredibly great!!!  Seriously, I was almost jumping from my chair, lol, some moments are so scary.     Leo is looking amazing as well as looks Tom Hardy and I'am sure the whole cast is brilliant.  Congrats to all involved because this movie is going to be a MASTERPIECE,   I'am sure of that.

^ I guess they just took the half picture and flipped it over to make it look like his whole face because it's 100% symmetrical that it can't be real. Plus by the nose and the narrow space between the eyes we can tell this is not Leo's natural whole face. Either way thanks for the pic.

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s 'The Revenant' Will Have A Score From Composer Ryuichi Sakamoto

This morning, no one needed their coffee, because the new trailer for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s "The Revenant" sorta blew everyone's nuts off. The gritty, grimy, snowcovered vengeance tale starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy is one of the fall's most anticipated movies, and while much attention has been paid to the natural-light-only visuals, it looks like the picture will be a delight for the ears as well.

Composer and experimental/minimalist musician Ryuichi Sakamoto is scoring the picture. The artist doesn't work on Hollywood productions very often (his last effort in that vein was probably Brian De Palma's "Snake Eyes" in 1998), however his compositions are almost always memorable. His work on Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Last Emperor" is a total ear worm (particularly the main theme), and may still be one of his finest hours.

It'll be very interesting to see what Sakamoto puts together for this movie, which offers something in a genre one wouldn't normally associate with the composer. And it'll be an more fascinating texture on a picture that is already working hard to challenge your senses. And we'll find out on Christmas Day when "The Revenant" opens in limited release. OK this trailer is amazing! I like it gave more of the plot, because after watching this I realized how totally clueless I was about it! I see alot of stuff has been added to the story since filming began. It has so much power, and grit, and looks pretty gruesome at times :x (but thats what I like )

 

Tom also looks really amazing, I love his voice! GAH January can't come soon enough, and dammit I already want another trailer

The girl who posted Instagram pix below on Monday posted a blog entry about her day at newly renovated Whitney Museum which include comments about her surprise encounter with Leo . I agree with her taste in American art

But in a museum that houses Warhol, de Kooning and O'Keefe, my favorite piece of American art was Leonardo DiCaprio, who I quite awkwardly noticed when I turned around and found myself inches away from his face. For a little over an hour, we then proceeded to watch him (and his model/actress girlfriend) look at the art—and what's more American than that?
