So that Rob guy posted another pic of him landed in LA with The Revenant crew. There's a guy in a newsboy cap that I guess kinda resembles Leo. Most of his face is covered, so I can't really tell. Plus the fact that I can't make out Irmelin, Dave or Reza has me doubting it's him. Man I hope he was on that flight!

So Dave is back in LA, so we know Leo is too. Looking forward to new pics :) Wonder if he'll shave right away or if he'll wait a bit just in case. Also I wonder if he'll go for a clean shave or if he'll just trim his beard. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long to find out.

^I hope he goes all out and does the clean shave, it'll make for a more drastic change. And by a week's time it'll grow out a bit anyways.

Knowing the film is done and that he's in LA, is making me more than ever want new pics. It's torturing me having to wait :chicken: :chicken: :chicken:

Pic of Leo and Kelly in Laguna today. Yep the beard and pony tail are still there. Guess hes waiting until he is 150% in the clear with filming being done (which makes sense. Would suck for him to shave only to have to do a little reshooting if necessary)

"I was driving by and we saw him and his girlfriend walking."

I knew there was a possibility he wouldn't shave right away, it took him a long time to shave after Django and when he did shave it was because Wolf filming was about to start. However, I still had hope... so I'm disappointed :hehe:

I figured Dave would want to go to Laguna to see his daughter and grandson since its been awhile, nice that Leo tagged along too. Would be cute to see a pic of Leo with the little grandson.

Those shoes look new :hehe:

Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, Billy Ray Team For ‘Devil In The White City’ As Paramount Wins Auction

EXCLUSIVE: A killer role that Leonardo DiCaprio has wanted to play for a long time is finally coming to the forefront after Paramount just closed a splashy deal to acquire the Erik Larson book The Devil In The White City: Murder, Magic And Madness At The Fair That Changed America. There was a big auction that had five studios chasing and three bidding aggressively–Universal and Fox were the others–before Paramount captured a package that has DiCaprio starring and re-teaming with his The Wolf Of Wall Street director Martin Scorsese. Billy Ray will write the script. Appian Way’s DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson are producing with Stacey Sher, Scorsese and Rick Yorn. This is a big one for recently minted Paramount Film Group president Marc Evans; it’s expected to be the next collaboration for DiCaprio and Scorsese, who’ve made five films together.

Between book option and Ray’s writing fees, this is a solid seven figure commitment, and much more when the picture gets made. Paramount’s Elizabeth Raposo will oversee it with Evans.

DiCaprio will play one of the most prolific serial killers in Chicago history, the 19th Century equivalent of Hannibal Lecter. He has wanted this for a long time, but the project’s second wind occurred after Warner Bros let the rights lapse a month ago on the 2003 non-fiction book (Graham Moore was among the writers who did drafts) and came out of conversations with Par’s Brad Grey and Scorsese and Yorn about the studio being at the center of the next DiCaprio-Scorsese teaming, after the studio released The Wolf Of Wall Street and it got five Oscar nominations. Yorn, DiCaprio and Scorsese went out with a new take on the material from Ray that got everybody excited all over again. The trick with this property has been interlacing the two main characters, the producer/architect of the World’s Fair, and the man who works for him and turned out to be a mass murderer. Ray cracked that, and the town flipped for it.

DiCaprio will play Dr. HH Holmes, a cunning serial killer believed to have murdered anywhere from 27 to 200 people at a time when the city of Chicago was enthralled with hosting the World’s Fair of 1893. Holmes constructed The World’s Fair Hotel, an inn more lethal than the Bates Motel, especially for young single women. The sociopath used charm and guile to lure guests into what became known as a “murder castle,” a haunt that had a gas chamber, crematorium and a dissecting table where Holmes would murder his victims and strip their skeletons to sell for medical and scientific study.

It’s a departure for DiCaprio to play an unrepentant bad guy, but it goes well into a career full of risk taking that includes The Wolf Of Wall Street with Scorsese (for which both got Oscar nominations), and the upcoming The Revenant, the Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu-directed film for New Regency and Fox. Ray has been working with DiCaprio and Davisson as he wrote the script for The Ballad Of Richard Jewell, the film that will star Jonah Hill. He’s also writing Twilight Zone for Appian Way at Warner Bros. Ray wrote and directed The Secret In Their Eyes, which STX Entertainment releases November 20.

DiCaprio and Scorsese have made Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island and The Wolf Of Wall Street together. LBI reps DiCaprio, Scorsese and Appian Way, and CAA, Management 36o and attorney Peter Nichols rep Ray

Read up some more on H.H Holmes. Will be interesting to see who else is cast in the movie or if they'll include his several wifes, etc.

On January 28, 1887, while he was still married to Clara, Holmes married Myrta Belknap (b. October 1862 in Pennsylvania)[11] in MinneapolisMinnesota. He filed for divorcefrom Clara a few weeks after marrying Myrta, but the divorce was never finalized.[12] Holmes had a daughter with Myrta, Lucy Theodate Holmes, who was born on July 4, 1889, inEnglewoodIllinois[13] (as an adult, Lucy became a public schoolteacher). Holmes lived with Myrta and Lucy in Wilmette, Illinois, and spent most of his time in Chicago tending to business.

Holmes married Georgiana Yoke on January 17, 1894, in DenverColorado,[12][14] while still married to Clara and Myrta.[citation needed] He also had a relationship with Julia Smythe,[12] the wife of one of his former employees. Julia would later become one of Holmes's victims.[12]

SOOO excited that he will do The Devil in the White City!    :ddr: It was always my fave among all the projects he was announced to be doing. I honestly didn't liked the idea of The Cartel nor The Balled of Richard Jewell... I liked the Crowded Room and hope he still make this movie.  But soo happy about Devil and with Martin, YEAH!

Exciting news. Hope the film actually comes to fruition. There is a very good chance close friend Bradley Cooper will co-star in the film as Daniel Burnham. However if Marty decides to go in a different direction possibilities include pal Ed Norton or even Christian Bale who has worked with Leo several times through Appian Way on Out of the Furnace and the upcoming Deep Blue Good By.
