New Hands is set for release in 2014 and will be produced by Ljosop Iceland and directed by Markell, with worldwide distribution handled by Spier Films.The clapperboard is now up for auction here, and the auction closes on Jan 26. As there is something you said in your review that I, also felt upon my first viewing. It's just me or someone here found a bit odd the way that his character Calvin Candie talks to his slave after that Mandingo Fight? It gave me the impression of a homosexual connotation in that scene. He sort of looked at the slave in a different way...I may be crazy but that's what I thought.
