For some reason I was thinking of Don’s Plum today. Back in 1999, Leo used to participate in an official chat room that was hosted on the official leonardodicaprio.com website. They were called the OChats. I was remembering when Leo asked everyone in the chat room if they would still see Don’s Plum if he asked them not to. The majority were honest and answered yes they would still see it. He did not really like that answer 😂. Sorry, Leo!

Social media was rather new and I think he was just trying it out. The official chat room only lasted about a year. The chats were held every so often and different people (his friends and people that worked for him) hosted each time. He only came into the chat room a handful of times, but the regular chatters were convince he was lurking under the user name HLime. I can’t remember everyone that hosted the chats, but I do remember his PA Alex and friend Jerry hosting a few times. Usually it was women that worked for him that hosted, but I can’t remember their names. 

I also remember the old leofans.com message boards. That was over 20 years ago😲😭

Anyway, I heard about your KOTFM opportunity, I hope it works out 😌! Despite, the authorised reports of his impending absence, just keep your eye 👁️ out for a 6' plus man with a widow's peak, cerulean eyes, a starter's cap in James Dean apparel. For no reason and because things are going little slow right now. Have seen this movie once years ago so it's more or less a free interpretation of Leos character.

A couple of more things that popped up in my memory of the chats. Jonah also chatted with us at least once. Someone asked Jonah what Leo smelled like and he said, “It depends on what he’s been doing.”  Good answer. Good answer. Jerry talked about wanting to get a pet squirrel and we all joked that he could keep it in his big, poofy, curly, red hair. Jerry also talked about an auto commercial, (Wagon R, I think), he had just filmed with Leo. He said they all were hitting each over the head with an empty water bottle and it was hilarious and they couldn’t stop laughing. Jerry also talked about having bought a GTO and was having it shipped to LA. Irmelin stopped by to say hello once and answer a few questions. That’s all I can remember right now.
