April 24, 200718 yr That and the fact that the British rate British players much higher than the foreign players in the EPL. It's true! Wayne Bridge is still not considered a failure at Chelsea, while the British press was all over Essien and Drogba last summer, urging Chelsea to get rid of them.
April 24, 200718 yr Wayne Bridge is not a failure :persuazn: and I still don't see why anyone would prefer Ashley Cole over him because quite frankly I think Ashley Cole is absolute rubbish. Bridgey is so much better on all accounts and you're probably right. The English tend to think so much of themselves but as the World Cup and the cricket would suggest...

April 24, 200718 yr We all know what I'm going to complain about...that last goal could prove vital and the second goal from Manyoo was great stuff
April 24, 200718 yr Well yes, Cashley is rubbish. Nooooooooo argument there. how bout we name him Trashley? anyway, i think he was better when he was at arsenal, now i dont really see much of him <_<
April 24, 200718 yr Great game. Too bad Dida couldn't be bothered to cover his near post. Still, two away goals...no formality, this one.
April 24, 200718 yr what a pass that was!!!!!!!! and that counter at the end is so awesome!!!!!!!The Ginger Prince at work again. That was an amazing pass. Evra had a bit of a shocker. Kaka showed some impressive skill. It's not far off the scoreline I thought it would be and it also keeps the second leg exciting. Man U have the lead but Milan have the away goals - anything could happen.

He never checked his near post the whole time Giggs was running up The Ginger Prince at work again. That was an amazing pass. Evra had a bit of a shocker. Kaka showed some impressive skill. What did you think the scoreline would be? and I don't know why Evra got a yellow...could anyone explain? Kaka was all class in the first half but in the second he did nothing but waste chances <_< It was a good game and the second leg should be a cracker I wonder how Manyoo would've fared against Kaka with Rio and Vidic playing

What did you think the scoreline would be? I predicted 4-2. I'd take that for the aggregate after the 2nd leg.
April 25, 200718 yr Great game. Too bad Dida couldn't be bothered to cover his near post. Still, two away goals...no formality, this one.I think you're being a bit harsh on Dida. Both him and Nesta were surprised by how early Rooney took that shot.

He never checked his near post the whole time Giggs was running up Giggs was running towards the center until he passed the ball to Rooney. He couldn't afford to cover the near post any earlier.

The second goal would probably have been avoided, since one attacker should never beat three defenders that easily.

Both him and Nesta were surprised by how early Rooney took that shot.He didn't look alert in the last minute of the game. His positioning was poor and he was punished. He made a decent save from Fletcher but otherwise he gave a pretty sloppy performance.
