Good movie. (Y)

I don't really see why you made a poll for it, though. :p

I just made someone watch it for the first time and they said it was terrible so this is me letting my anger out :p

Ohhhh. Good reason then! :D But if you're looking for American Beauty haters to let your anger out on, look in the IMDb boards for A.B. It's jam-packed with conservative morons.

been there, done that. :p but at least I dont know those wankers

You really do read the Hilary thread then.

i was really young when i watched it and it made see some things clearer.

Because "im not American" reason is too lame ?!!

I liked it. There I said it. It did seem like a modernized version of the Graduate to me. But good nonetheless.

But I think Green Mile should have won the Academy Award instead. That or The Insider.

^ Eh, The Green Mile really wasn't Oscar-worthy to me. I love that A.B. won all the big Oscars, since nearly every studio turned down producing it. It was sort of a big "I told you so."

And what's so damn bad about it? Like MLA said people have different taste, and this movie was clearly not my cup of tea. Yeah I know...omg somebody does not agree with you...holy shit the world is gonna end. Its not sweetie its okay. People will disagree with your opinions sometimes. :flower:
