Yep, I agree with you buddy. These magazines are here for dreams, in order to help people escape from the daily routine, just for a little while. Unfortunately, SISE decided that dreams aren't allowed anymore.

These untalented new writers from Marvel are losing shitloads of marketshares vs. mangas, so, they just want to ban them now. Classic woke activist move: when you lose the argument (or the market shares), you just censor the opponents

BTW, it's interesting that you mentioned the US comics, because manga have gradually taken market shares from them. Manga are focused on storylines/creativity, while 2020 US comics are just about politics and that's killing them. The US comics industry have realized that, that's probably why there are various attacks in the US and Australia against manga (often times, for fallacious pretexts). In many instances, activists seize their politicians (Congress/Senate) to make the legislator take action against the mangas (for stupid pretexts). These attacks could also be "just" politically motivated, but there's probably industrial competition behind all this.
I guess it depends on the manga. They have very different style. If you take the most famous ones: "One piece" has a kind of psychedelic and childlikestyle, "Attack on Titans" is more brutal, but still has teenage vibes, Berserk's style is crude and brutal, etc. I don't like all of their styles, but at least the stories are always very creative as you say. It depends on what you call western comics. American comics until ~ 2010s produced a lot of very interesting stuff (though at some point, they tried to overexploit some concepts), but, since 2010, it has gradually become bland and vapid (mostly because the writers don't care about the storylines anymore, it's all about politicization today ). In 2020, the US comics industry is in very bad shape (and for reasons that came before covid) French and Belgian comics have always been good and they are still really good today. We don't have superhero themes, but there's a wide spectrum, I'm sure you can find some you'll like.
Under the reign of Kathleen Kennedy, the box office results of the main movies kept decreasing, one movie lost money, the fans are divided, the franchise is broken, etc. The only thing that worked well and united the fandom was the Mandalorian (which was made without KK ) In a normal world, KK would've been fired a long time ago...
